2. You again!

The phone rang for the third time before Kevin finally picked it up, it seemed like the caller was persistent.

"What!"

Kevin barked when he saw the caller, it was none other than his stupid younger brother.

"Ooh, I missed you too," Joel replied, rolling his eyes, he was already used to his brother's behavior, and at times, he wondered how they could be brothers, one always in a jovial and sociable mood, while the other a grumpy, cold, and arrogant jerk.

"I never said I missed you," Kevin replied with a smirk, it seemed like his friend was in a mood to play.

"Of course, you didn't, a dumbass like you would never say such a word even if you miss me."

"Joel!"

Kevin called out sternly, how could two people call him dumbass in a single day. Joel just reminded him of the gangster girl who shamelessly called him the same name.

"Do you have a dead wish!"

Kevin thundered, his voice dripping with anger, but when he didn't get a response, he decided to hang up the call, he wasn't in the mood for this.

"Wait, I wanted to ask you for the night out. Anyway no need to ask, so let's meet up at 8, same place, don't keep me waiting," Joel added before he hung up without even waiting for an answer.

'So this brat is in the country,' Kevin thought. Joel hadn't informed him of his arrival, but this wasn't time for this, he would deal with him later.

Kevin grumbled but all in all, he was going out for the night since he was in a really good mood today after he had secured the deal, so he thought it was worth celebrating.

"Hey sweetheart, wanna go have a dance with me," a blonde-haired young man asked sheepishly as he checked out on Bella, he found her interesting and unique, unlike all the other girls in the room, her dress code showed how out of place she looked, and when he saw how she had dismissed all every young man that approached her, it just piqued his interest more, he was sure she couldn't resist his charm as he was a sweetheart to many girls already.

"F**k off!"Bella said through gritted teeth, glaring at him, those eyes made the blonde stumble backward before he hurriedly left her, he wasn't ready for such kind of a girl.

"Woah, easy there, girl, you just scared the hell out of him," Akira said as Sharon just laughed, shaking her head, while Bella just rolled her eyes at them, she didn't care at all.

"Bella, are you going to shoo all the men away? Aren't you going to have a dance with one? You are just acting like a party pooper that you are," Alex sneered as he joined the girls.

At the farthest corner of the bar, Jason, Kevin's PA, was staring at a certain point for quite a long time, and this piqued the interest of other boys who sat at the table. They, too, turned their heads in that direction.

Bella felt quite uncomfortable like she was being watched, not just with two eyes but several.

Kevin, too, felt curious about the spot Jason was staring at, he had at a point seen him raise his upper lip, smiling, though it was just for a second.

Just as Kevin turned to check out, at the same time Bella turned her head to check out who were boring holes in her back, and for a second, it seemed like everything around her had stopped to a halt, she immediately withdrew her gaze when she finally came back to her senses.

Bella was surprised, she didn't expect to meet here of all the places. The dumbass she had met this morning, how could she forget the face of someone she had despised at the first meeting, someone who had advised her of the better suicidal idea, but there's one thing she really would admit is that he looked handsome on casuals compared to their first encounter.

Kevin too on the other hand was dumbfounded, it hadn't ever come to his mind that they would meet each other this soon, he didn't know whether it was a good thing or not, but one thing was for sure, that when she had turned her face to him, which seemed like it was in slow motion, for a second he felt his heart race like he could see her from quite a different light.

Bella took her liquor and drowned it, just seeing the face of that jerk was enough to ruin further her already foul mood, and since she was quite a low alcohol-tolerant person, within a few minutes, she was already tipsy. She staggered to the dance floor, mumbling incoherently as she started dancing.

Off tune!

Kevin, whose eyes were all along following her raised his thin upper lip, only in a flash before he maintained his cold poker face that shooed many ladies away.

"I will be back soon," Kevin announced and headed to the dance floor when the boys saw where he had headed, they gasped in shock, Kevin doesn't like dancing in clubs at all though he's an expert, and seeing him then made them question their sanity, it seemed like they were going to see a lot this night.

Kevin grabbed Bella on her waist from behind and spun her around.

'Seems like she's a dancer or either very fit based on how she expertly spins even though she is drunk,' Kevin thought to himself.

"Hey, you... "Bella started drunkenly but trailed off when she saw who it was.

"You again!" She glared at Kevin as she tried to remove his hands from her waist.

"Come on, young lady," Kevin leaned in and whispered in her ear, his warm breath on her ear hypnotized her, and she just didn't want to play hard to get, so she just played along, moving along with the rhythm.

Bella realized that Kevin, just like her, was a dance expert, it's not always that she gets someone who matches her taste in dancing.

Both Kevin and Bella were so carried away by the music as they moved perfectly in synch that by the time the song ended they were surprised to see they were the only one on the dance floor as everyone else had left the stage for them.

Everybody applauded them, and for once, Bella felt shy hearing people's comments on how they were such a good matching couple.

Joel was surprised when he stepped into the bar, he had been held back by the heavy traffic on the road hence he had reached the club later than he had planned but only to be met a shocking seen he never thought he could witness, his brother was on the dance floor with a lady.

That was unheard of!

Everyone close to Kevin knew he wasn't someone who got along with any woman after their mother left him when they were still kids, since then he had never associated himself with the femme gender many people thought that he was gay, only that he also didn't show any interest in men, and so Joel thought this girl must be somehow special.

Joel headed to where the other four boys sat, he hugged them since it was quite a long time since they last met after he had gone abroad to further his studies.

Joel took a sit next to Ben, Kevin's bodyguard and brother but seeing him feeling a little uncomfortable, he sat directly opposite to him.

Bella excused herself to use the washroom, but Kevin thought maybe she was running away from him, so he held her back, and just before she could explain herself, she threw up on him!

Everything went to a halt at that very moment, Sharon and Akira, who were earlier on clapping, remained dumbfounded, mouths agape, seems like they were in really big trouble for this.

Bella had thrown up on the world's richest man, the devil himself!

The temperature of the room dropped by a few degrees as everyone stumbled, running out of the room for their dear life, they were not ready to be victims of the aftermath.

Even though they were curious about what would happen to Bella, they just didn't have the guts to stand by and watch, they all went with the saying, 'Curiosity killed the cat.'

In just one minute, the whole room was deserted save for Kevin's friends, who remained seated at their table minding their own business, but deep down they sympathized with her.

Sharon, Akira, and Alex remained glued to their previous positions.

The silence was awkward, and at the same time, the air became dense, even though there were air conditioners in the room. Bella shuddered as she felt a drop in the temperature and immediately she sobered up.

She swore in her life that this would be the last time she would ever get drunk if she were to be spared from this man.

Alex, Akira, and Sharon ran and kneeled before Kevin, begging him to spare Bella, since they all came from the upper class, they were well aware of what Kevin was capable of. He had once blacklisted someone's family from the city just because their daughter had spiked his drink even though he hadn't taken a sip from the drink.

Bella thought her friends must be stupid for kneeling before Kevin, she wasn't such a social media person, so how was she supposed to know who she had offended? After all, it was not her fault, he had held her back when she had excused herself to use the washroom, she thought to herself.
