Seraphine's jaw dropped. What was with timing having everything against her? Although she couldn't recall the contents of her conversation that day with Hamilton, what she was sure of none of that should have been heard by Noah.

"Oh," that's all Seraphine could say. "I apologize."

"You needn't," he voiced out, "You awfully remind me of someone."

Seraphine wondered whether that someone existed or Noah wanted to get information out of her. Her brain was tired of trying to figuring these puzzles out. Why can't everyone be straightforward?

"How was that person?" Seraphine inquired.

"Smart yet foolish— at least she knew how to live happily. I wonder if she is feeling the same right now. That's enough for me," he said prior to a sigh escaping from his lips.
