“You forget yourself, Tamara. You are nothing more than a baby-making machine for the family. Once the children are born, do you think the Lynch family will take you in?” Yareli mocked. She despised Tamara for overstepping her bounds, for believing she could claim to be Sebastian’s wife simply because she had seduced him.

She reluctantly agreed back then because of Old Mr. Lynch’s wish. Tamara was only married to Sebastian for that reason. Tamara’s worth, however, would quickly dwindle with the old man’s recovering body and the growing babies.

Tamara twitched. She continued to plaster a small smile on her face but said nothing.
