Chapter 331 What a Joke

Tamara sat on the balcony chair in her bedroom, gazing at the evening sky. The sky was dyed a pretty green, and the stars twinkled away among them.

Sebastian walked over with annoyance written clearly on his face. “How long will she stay here?”

Tamara was startled. “I’m not sure, but I can’t just chase her out.”

“Why not?” Sebastian’s face fell. “She is not a simple girl. You’re just asking for trouble if you keep her by your side.”

Tamara took Sebastian’s hand in hers and motioned for him to take a seat. “I’ve always believed that children are not responsible for their parents’ actions. Children are innocent, don’t you agree?”

Sebastian pursed his lips. After a brief silence, he said, “You’re right.”

Tamara smiled and leaned her head against his shoulder.

Yet she had a bad feeling about this. It felt like the calm before the storm.

Tamara collected her thoughts and absentmindedly tightened her grip on Sebastian’s hand.
