Chapter 327 Maybe It Was Hatred

The bodyguards were not expecting the person to stand firm. They hurriedly drove a car over before rushing James to the hospital.

The rest of them escorted Tamara back inside the manor.

Sebastian returned ten minutes later. When he saw Tamara’s pale face, he walked over to hug her. “You’re all right now.”

Someone had informed him of what had happened. Tamara got ambushed, and James got shot.

That was a declaration of war!

Sebastian had dispatched people to canvass the entire neighborhood. The person would have a difficult time escaping from him.

Tamara pressed her face against his chest. Tamara felt a little better after hearing Sebastian’s steady heartbeat.

Her near-death experience left her scarred for life.

Tamara looked up at Sebastian. “James got shot because of me. He’s still being treated at the hospital. Will he be alright?”

Sebastian held Tamara’s face and kissed her forehead gently. “Don’t worry. The bullet missed his vitals. He’ll be fine.”
