Chapter 1811 Whine

The woman's smile gradually faded. She hastily left, fearing that a delayed exit might lead to her being beaten by Benjamin.

Benjamin sat in his chair, his hand reaching to pinch the bridge of his nose. His gaze grew increasingly colder when he thought of Lance's dirty method.

He took out his phone and made a call.

"Hello?" The call was quickly answered.

"Has Margot gone out today?" Benjamin asked bluntly.

The person on the other end fell silent for a moment. "She didn't go out, but she just dismissed me."

"What?" Benjamin widened his eyes. "Why did she dismiss you?"

Jake shrugged. "Who knows? She suddenly called me upstairs and told me that I don't have to protect her anymore."

Benjamin's expression grew ugly. "What did you say, then?"

Jake clicked his tongue. "What else could I say? I'm here to protect her. If she no longer needs it, I have no choice but to leave."

Gritting his teeth, he said, "You can't leave."
