Chapter 1810 Gwenda

Margot waited for the call to connect. Her sweaty palms were trembling nervously, yet her gaze grew colder by the moment. She knew this number by heart, but she didn't expect to put it to use this soon.

"Hello?" Finally, under her increasingly icy gaze, the call was answered. An old voice sounded on the other end.

Margot fell silent for a moment. "Andrew, do you remember Gwenda?"

The other end of the phone fell silent.

Margot paused and glanced at her phone, thinking the call had been disconnected. But it hadn't. What was going on? Why did Andrew go silent when he heard her mother's name?

"Andrew, say something!" Margot spoke again, her tone even colder than before.

"Who are you?" Andrew's voice finally came through, this time laced with a chilling tone.

Margot lowered her eyes. "You'll find out soon enough who I am. I only want to ask if you remember Gwenda. If you do, then I have something to tell you. If you don't, then this call never happened."
