Tamara furrowed her brows. "This isn't Nammu Bay. Killing people is against the law."

Margot smiled faintly. "He's a fugitive. Do you think he fears the law?"

Tamara fell silent. While that was true, she couldn't help but wonder how Margot could maintain such a cheerful demeanor in this situation.

"Aren't you worried, Margot?" Tamara asked.

Margot shook her head. "No. I've faced even more dangerous situations than this. Eric's trip to Londsville is too bold and daring. I believe his intentions are more complicated than simply killing me. If he wanted to kill me, he wouldn't need to come here personally."

Tamara was still worried.

Margot pulled her onto the couch. "Tammy, I suspect that Eric was sent by Andrew to find out what are my intentions for making that phone call. After all, Andrew is ... my father.
