I stepped out of the restaurant and glanced back at the doors, clenching my fist in fury.

A part of me pushed me to get back into that restaurant and drag Rosy away with me while the other part urged me to go like she wanted.

It could probably be for the best.

“How did it go?” Mario asked behind me.

I sighed and drew my eyes away from the doors.

“Let’s go,” I muttered, caressing the spot Rosy hit me.

Mario creased his brows at me before driving out of the environment.

Everything kept replaying one after the other, strongly leaving a trail of mockery behind. Her words left a hole in my heart every time they echoed in my mind.

Did she mean those words? Does she truly love him?

She said she loved him, but her eyes said the opposite. It felt like she was begging me to stay, to take her away.

Rosy was good at pretending, but I’m the only one who understands her pretentious behavior. She has been with me to the point that I know when she’s lying and when she’s being truthful
