"How did it go with Tae Jin?" Chae Joon asked, taking Se Jong's hands.

They were in their room, seated on their bed, facing each other.

*Sigh, Se Jong sighed tiredly, "Bad I guess" he answered.

He has lost his first friend right?

"Don't worry, it'll be well" Chae Joon said, caressing his cheek gently.

Loving it, Se Jong leaned into his touch, feeling calm, relief.

He looked so cute.......Chae Joon thought, smiling.

"What are we now Chae Joon" Se Jong asked, looking into his (Chae Joon) eyes.

Se Jong said he and Chae Joon were dating now but that wasn't so.

They never talked about it.

This morning, they didn't talk about it.

They only talked about Hae Jin.

Who he was to Chae Joon and why Chae Joon was hiding this from him (Hae Jin)

They (Hae Jin and Chae Joon) used to be more than friends.

Yes, Chae Joon knew Hae Jin from their past lives.

That's why even though they only met a few days ago, Chae Joon loved Hae Jin.

Cared for him.

And was always taking care of him.

Trying his best to make him (Hae Jin) happy.

Keep him safe.

Se Jong knew everything now.

"What do you want us to be?" Chae Joon asked, snapping him out of his thoughts.

Looking at him, Se Jong answered, "Lovers" smiling.

Hearing it, Chae Joon smiled, happy.

Taking Se Jong's hands again, he gently caressed them as he said,

"That's exactly what we are now. When I found out my feelings for you, I didn't want to accept them because I was scared. I thought your feelings were that of gratitude, you know, for saving your life when you were a kid"

Well.........not like he personally saved his life.

However, growing up, Se Jong believed that, but the truth was,..... He did nothing.

It wasn't him.

"Anyways, I was scared of getting heartbreak. Scared of losing you when you find out the truth....... but not anymore" he said and Se Jong smiled, 

"I'm glad to hear this" he (Se Jong)said and they smiled at each other.

This.......still felt like a dream.

He and Chae Joon.....they were dating now.

They were in a relationship.

Lovers!

I wanted nothing more but this and he finally got it.

This was a dream come true.

..................hold on! He just remembered something.

"You first touched me when I was four right? After the accident, I remember being in your arms" he said.

How could he (Se Jong) forget this?!

That was the first time Chae Joon touched him.

"Yes. But that time, I saw nothing. I didn't know much about ghosts either. I later found out why I didn't see the future when I touched you. Why you didn't get hurt when I touched"

Why? Se Jong asked himself and like Chae Joon heard, he answered,

"Because you were already dead. I saw nothing because you were already dead" Chae Joon said, shocking Se Jong.

He died?

Die?!

Seriously?!

"And I was able to touch you without hurting you because you're my special one"

"Hold on, I died?! Then how come am here now?!" Se Jong asked, still surprised.

Couldn't be he was a ghost, right?

Okay, that does not make sense.

"You died and, your soul left your body" 

Chae Joon remembered, he saw his soul and he stood right beside him.

But then, it looked like he was unconscious.

Se Jong stood beside him, pale, eyes closed and he was breathing, heavily.

"A very bright light shone and then I heard a heard, saying it wasn't your time yet. You had to help me. And then the voice asked me if I will take care of you and I said yes"

With no hesitation, Chae Joon thought.

"Afterwards, your soul entered your body again and you woke up. There's....."

"I saw you, in your arms and then I lost conscious" Se Jong completed his words, still in disbelief.

"Yes. Your parents, their souls were beside us but you lost conscious before you could see them. And then they gave me the message they wanted you to know. Afterwards, they crossed over"

Se Jong's parents didn't blame him (Chae Joon) and even asked him to take care of their son.

They said it wasn't his fault.

Chae Joon was grateful to know this.

However, he still couldn't get rid of the guilt.

Because of him, two people died.

He took their beautiful life.

Separated them from their son.

Knowing all this, he just couldn't forgive himself, like his (Se Jong) parents told him to.

"The voice,.....do you know who it was?" Se Jong asked, drawing him out of his thoughts.

A smile on his face, Chae Joon answered, "I heard, 'I AM THAT I AM'"

"God?" Se Jong asked, surprised.

Smiling, Chae Joon answered, "Probably"

Wow!

He (Se Jong) did not know what to think about that.

"The ambulance came later and I left you. I went back to the cemetery and then I found out about special ones and more about ghosts. Immediately, I began searching for you"

Well, he (Chae Joon) was going to do just that even if he didn't find out that he (Se Jong) was his special one.

"I never found you. And then, one day, you came to the cemetery and I finally found you and I followed you. The day your parents were buried, their funeral,.........I wasn't at the cemetery and I wasn't one to involve myself in other people's businesses. I didn't go around looking at graves and guessing who it was or what happened to them so I didn't know your parents were buried there. It was only when you came over with Mrs Cha that I found out"

Well, guess it was a good thing he (Se Jong) followed his mother (Mrs Cha) that day.

"You were supposed to see me only, your chosen ghost, but after you came back, you started seeing ghosts" Chae Joon said.

Definitely, it was because he (Se Jong) died and his soul left his body for a few seconds.

He (Chae Joon) thought.

"What exactly happened that night?" Se Jong asked.

He wanted to know his (Chae Joon) side of the story.

It was the right thing.

"I......I don't remember much but I know I came around the area with my teacher. I ran to road, to cross it and go to the other side. I heard....I heard a dog barking loudly and I knew it was close. I wanted to check it out. Find out what was going on" he said and Se Jong could see it was hard for him a continue.

Even so, he was patient and he had all the time in the world. 

He'll wait.

After taking a few seconds to get himself together, Chae Joon continued,

"I saw the car coming and I made a stop, thinking the person driving can't see ghosts. Thinking the people can't see ghosts. I thought the car will pass through me, like usual, cause am a ghost, but that didn't happen. And I caused the accident"

Well,.........

"I don't think my parents could see ghosts" Se Jong said, confused. 

Also, if his parents knew about ghosts, they would have known he was one.

His dad who was driving thought he was human, that's why..........

"For some reason, they could see me" Chae Joon said, gaining his (Se Jong) attention. 

"Yes that's weird" he (Se Jong) said.

How come his parents could see him that night?

This was weird...........

Or........could be because he was Chae Joon's special one?

This made sense.

Cause he couldn't see what other ghosts looked like unless Chae Joon was with him, but, he could see what Hae Jin looked like whether Chae Joon was with him or not.

And he believed, that was because Chae Joon was related to Hae Jin.

Could it be the same here?

Ahahaha!!!

He was so confused!

Was he even making sense?!

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to cause their deaths" Chae Joon spoke, head lowered down, looking so guilty.

Sorry.

A warm smile on his face, Se Jong gently caressed his cheek, saying, "Is not your fault. Please don't blame yourself too much"

"You forgive me right?" Chae Joon asked with teary eyes.

"My parents weren't angry right?" Se Jong asked, smiling and he (Chae Joon) nodded,

"Then who am I to get angry?"

"I want to hear it"

It might lessen the guilt he felt.

Hugging him, Se Jong said, "Then I forgive" smiling, while caressing his (Chae Joon) back as his way of comforting him.

"Thank you" Chae Joon said, smiling.

Finally, he got what he wanted.

And his heart,.......was a little at peace.

"You should go see Hae Jin now. He hasn't come out yet" Se Jong said.

Hugging him (Se Jong) as well, Chae Joon hummed as his reply.

Everything, will be alright now.

He (Chae Joon) believed this.

Chae Joon thought, smiling.

"Can I come in?" Chae Joon asked, already in the room and Hae Jin wonder why he even asked.

In his and Tae Jin's room, Hae Jin sat on the edge of the bed, looking depressed.

Nothing was going well for the poor guy.

"Are you......a little better?" Chae Joon asked, worried about him.

"Please sit" Hae Jin said, not sparing him a glance.

Not one to miss a chance, Chae Joon took the offer and made his way beside him (Hae Jin)

"Thanks" he said after taking a seat on the bed beside Hae Jin.

"Do you want to talk? You might feel a little better"

"You love Se Jong right? Like......not as a friend"

Where was this going?

Then again, it wasn't like he (Chae Joon) had a problem sharing it.

"Hmmm" he (Chae Joon) replied.

"When did that happen?" Hae Jin asked, looking at him for the first time since he came in.

The question brought a smile on Chae Joon's face.

His eyes said how much he loved Chae Joon and Hae Jin was a little jealous.

Both Chae Joon and Se Jong felt the same.

And he,............it was just him.

"I don't know, it just did. But.....I realize on the day we touched and I saw my future with him. I wanted it. I saw us together. More than friends" Chae Joon said, smiling.

"I saw it too but I don't know about Tae Jin" Hae Jin said, looking sad.

Seeing that look, the smile on his face disappeared.

"I........I didn't know I love Tae Jin more than friends until Kim Soo told me"

"Huh?" Chae Joon asked stupidly.

How can someone tell you who you're in love with?

Or..........could it be........

And Hae Jin confirmed his (Chae Joon) suspicions.

"We talked about Tae Jin. I told her how much Tae Jin meant to me. How much I love spending time with him. How much I didn't like it when he was dating Shin Hye. I can't imagine my life without him. He's the very reason why I don't want to cross" Hae Jin said, tears streaming down from his eyes.

"Hae Jin......" Chae Joon called out his name, feeling sorry for him.

"He doesn't feel the same Chae Joon and I'm pretty sure he hate me now. I feel so stupid! I mess up everything. I shouldn't have confessed, knowing he didn't feel the same way and hated people in love with the same sex"

Taking his (Hae Jin) hand, Chae Joon said, "Is not your fault. You just couldn't hold it in. I know how you feel" 

"It hurt so much Chae Joon. I can breathe or think straight" he said through tears.

"Is okay" Chae Joon tried to comfort him.

"And,.......thinking about it,...... even if we do end up together,.....Chae Joon, I'm a ghost, he can't go anywhere with me. I.... I can also cross over anytime"

"Isn't he the very reason why you became a hunter of evil ghosts? You wanted the last reward right? One more grade 3 evil ghost. Just one more, and you can stay in this world for as well as you want. You can be with him"

"But I don't have it and right now, I really want to cross over" Hae Jin said, tears streaming down from his eyes.

Suddenly, the door burst opened, surprising both Tristan and Chae Joon.

Looking at the entrance, they saw Tae Jin, a deep frown on his face. 

"Who said I'll let you!" He said, coming in.

"Tae Jin" Hae Jin called out his name, still surprised.

How come he was here?

What did he want now?

Tristan thought, looking away from Tae Jin. Giving his back to him (Tae Jin)

Guess this was his cue to leave.

Chae Joon thought, smiling as he left the room to give the two privacy.

Using his powers, he touched the doorknob and closed it after stepping out of the room.

Though afraid of the answer he'll get, Hae Jin still asked anyways.

"Tae Jin.........why are you back?"

Taking a seat behind his hyung, a sad look on his face, Tae Jin began.

"I saw it hyung too. I saw us together, smiling, looking happy" he (Tae Jin) said and Hae Jin's eyes flew opened.

He (Tae Jin) also saw the future?

"Finally, I realise, this was what Nancy talked about. Shin Hye wasn't for me. I believe you are. And am so sorry.....I left you. I shouldn't have done that. I want you more than friends hyung"

"Tae Jin" Hae Jin called out to him, turning to face Tae Jin.

Tears streaming down.

Relief and happiness in his beautiful eyes said something else.

Tae Jin could tell.

"I know what we have isn't perfect. You're a ghost, far older than me. 40 years or so"

"I'm only 24" Hae Jin said with a deep frown and he (Tae Jin) smiled,

"Still you're older" he said.

Annoyed, Hae Jin yelled out, "Is just five or six years apart!"

"Still older" Tae Jin replied.

Hae Jin, annoyed, was just about to yell at him but then, Tae Jin did not give him a chance.

"Whatever! In any case!, I don't care about anything else, all I care about is you hyun—I mean, Hae Jin"

This.......this was the first time Tae Jin called him by his (Hae Jin) name.

Author: And he didn't say it in his mind. He said it out loud.

Hae Jin: Why are you still here?

Author: I'm the writer, remember?

In any case, hearing Tae Jin call out his name,.......made him really happy.

Sounded different.

He couldn't put a finger on it but it just did and he loved it.

"Hae Jin"

Oh, he called him by his name again.

Gosh! His name has never sounded this nice!

How come?!

Gently wiping his tears with his hand, Tae Jin continued, "I don't know much about love"

No

"Okay, who am I kidding? I know nothing about love"

Okay, go on.

Hae Jin thought, smiling from ear to ear.

Caressing his cheek, Tae Jin continued, "But I do know I want no one but you. I want to go to sleep seeing you next to me. I want to wake up beside you. You're the only one I want to share my room with. You're the only one I want as my chosen ghost. You're the only one I want in my life as my partner"

Now, wasn't that just so sweet coming from his kid.

Hae Jin thought, smiling.

"Will you forgive me and accept me again? This time, as your boyfriend?"

"Can I kiss you now?" Hae Jin blurt out, smiling, surprising Tae Jin.

But that look last for a second.

A smile made its way on his (Tae Jin) lips and he answered,

"By all means"

No warning, Hae Jin smashed his lips on his (Tae Jin), kissing him and he (Tae Jin) kissed back, wrapping his hands around Hae Jin's neck, he pulled him (Hae Jin) closer.

This was the first time he was kissing his hyung and it was so much better than he thought.

He couldn't get enough and wanted more and more.

His hyung (Hae Jin) didn't know, but this was actually his (Tae Jin) kiss.

NIGHT TIME.

In the living room, Tae Jin, Hae Jin, Chae Joon and Se Jong shared the double couch.

Shin Hye and Jay on the double couch, Hyun Seo sat alone on the single couch.

Both Shin Hye and Hyun Seo were in shock and could not believe what they were seeing while Jay was just watching, smiling.

They all had not shame.

Hae Jin in Tae Jin's arms, he (Tae Jin) lovingly caressed his hair with his free hand. His hand held by Hae Jin who won't let go.

Both were smiling happily and once in a while, Tae Jin would kiss his hair, showing off his love for him.

Chae Joon held hands with Se Jong.

His (Chae Joon) lover's head on his shoulder.

Both were also smiling, loving the current position.

They loved being next to each other.

Loved being closer to each other.

Loved having each other at the moment.

And the four looked like they were in their own worlds.

Totally ignoring Shin Hye, Jay and Hyun Seo.

Like they weren't in the room.

Like they were invisible which was crazy cause the ghosts in the room should be the invisible ones.

Shin Hye and Hyun Seo could see Chae Joon and that's because he chose to show himself to them.

"What?" Hyun Seo blurt out, still surprised.

.................... he (Hyun Seo) was starting to feel annoyed.

"What the heck is going on here?!! There's another ghost?!" Shin Hye asked, surprised.

Okay, feels like she knows this already.

But.............Who cares?!!!!!

She was not taking back her reaction at the moment.

"Chae Joon" Se Jong introduced him, still not gaining Tae Jin and Hae Jin's attention.

He looked at Chae Joon and they smiled at each other.

"And......and you're dating?!" Shin Hye asked in shock.

Seeing how red Se Jong was, hiding his face on Chae Joon's shoulder, Shin Hye thought,

'Don't say a word, I got the answer'

"No, what surprise me even more is the fact that, am the only single one here!" Hyun Seo yelled out, annoyed.

Shin Hye, Jay, Chae Joon and Hyun Seo looked at him, smiling.

Tae Jin and Hae Jin still in a fairy tale.

"Shin Hye is with Jay. Se Jong with Chae Joon, and Tae Jin, with Hae Jin! A man! A ghost! An older person!" Hyun Seo said in shock.

"One more from you Hyun Seo and I'll tie you up" And finally, he got Tae Jin's attention.

"A threat?" He (Hyun Seo) asked and Tae Jin replied,

"I'll definitely work on"

"I'm going crazy" Hyun Seo said.

Ignoring him, Tae Jin asked, "Oh, Shin Hye, you got my stuffs right?"

"I did, and your mom, she said she's been call you but you won't pick up" Shin Hye answered.

Right.

His dad told him and he now knew what she wanted to say.

She wanted to convince him to see his dad which he already did and.......

She wanted to warn him about Shin Hye's father.

Come to think of it,....... should he tell her everything?

What he found out........was way too scary, disappointing and heartbreaking.

Maybe he shouldn't tell her after all.

"Yes, my dad told me" Tae Jin said, surprising everyone.

Hae Jin sat up, looking at him with a worried.

Still holding his (Tae Jin) hand.

"You spoke to your dad?" Shin Hye asked, still surprised.

Did heaven come down on earth?

Tae Jin actually met his father?!

She.....she was in disbelief.

Smiling, Tae Jin replied, "Yes, we're good now and I also found out something else"

Looking at Chae Joon with a serious look, Tae Jin said, "Chae Joon, if you don't mind can we talk now?" 

"Hmmm, outside" Chae Joon replied.

He could tell, Tae Jin found out about him.

Then again, the question should be, 'What did he (Tae Jin) know?'
