I gaze at the person who blocked the doorway of the lady's room, bewildered at his sudden appearance, especially outside the lady's room.

However, I'm surprised to see a familiar face.

“Oh, the eyeglasses guy!”

His smile widened. “Hi, Ms. Carter! Mr. Kane ordered me to drive you to the restaurant.”

My brows furrowed as I glanced at my smartwatch. “Really? He didn't tell me.” I mumbled.

Is it a surprise date?

I bit my bottom lip, hiding my smile inside me. I didn't know he had this kind of sweet side.

“Come on, Ms. Carter. It's getting dark.”

He leads me to the exit of the building. A black sedan greeted us. But why only us?

I glanced around, looking for Damon's bodyguards but not even one of them was here.

“Where are the bodyguards?”

I remember two of them followed me behind as I ran to the lady's room but they were now gone.

“Bodyguards? Ummm… they will follow us.”

He opened the back seat door. I sighed as I didn't have any choice but to get inside. I'm starving and thirsty,
