THALIA

The atmosphere inside the cafeteria became intense silence. Eyes were lowered down the floor or avoiding Damon's glare, frozen on their seats, and mute their babbling mouths.

The effect of Damon syndrome was indeed scary. Especially now, in front of us, Damon Kane the Great was wearing a frown.

I scratch the back of my neck as I'm also uncomfortable having Damon's presence with us.

He suddenly pulled the plate of salad from Ralph.

“I'll order you some–”

“This is what I only need.” He cut my words as he stared at me intently. “I love salad too.”

I cleared my throat and avoided his intense glare.

He finished the salad in a second. He then turned to me with a blank emotion.

“Are you done?”

“Yes.”

“Get back to work and follow me.” He firmly spoke out.
