Chapter 5

I'm staring into nothing now while doing laundry, when I look at the panties I'm washing, it's got a hole in it.

I frowned. "There wasn't a hole earlier, was it?"

I just shook my head and lightly slapped my cheek. I closed my eyes tightly because soap was applied to my two eyes. Sh*t, I forgot that I still have soap on my hand!

"What the hell! Unlucky me!" I want to cry because my eyes are hurting. Hubby is not here yet, no one will help me.

I stood up and tried to find the bucket with water. I'm just walking, and even if I can't see anyone, I'm thankful because I didn't trip or bump into someone--

"Oh, my godddd!!!!" I screamed and felt myself fall into the pool.

I coughed and spat out the water I drank. "Sh*t! I peed here in the pool yesterday!" I don't know if hubby also peed here... I feel sick just thinking about it.

But that also disappeared and was replaced by laughter. "You're acting like sh*t Nicole, it's just a pee, you have already tasted his sperm!"

I just washed it and when my eyes were okay, I went up and sat on the side.

I'm having fun now while mom and dad are not with me, I don't even know if they're okay. Like Aunt Ella, they also don't like Elthon for me, because we are poor and Elthon comes from a rich family.

But I was stubborn and because I loved Elthon so much, I left my family and went with the person I loved. When Elthon and I got married and I didn't let them know about it because I know they won't allow me to get married either.

I just sighed and finished the laundry so that I can rest.

It's almost 6 pm and I'm just watching a show now. I heard someone ring the doorbell so my eyebrows went up.

"Why did hubby come home so early?" I asked myself and stood up.

'Maybe he misses me?'

I suddenly shuddered at my thoughts and just laugh.

I smiled widely as I slowly opened the door. My smile gradually disappeared when I saw Aunt Ella standing outside the gate.

I quickly walked towards her because she was obviously irritated by just looking at her face right now. I opened the gate and she didn't say anything to come inside. After I closed the gate, I immediately followed her inside the house.

"Auntie, what are you doing here?" I asked but she didn't answer me. She looked around while slowly sitting up.

"Do I need your permission first before coming here?!" She raised an eyebrow at me.

"It's not like that."

What is she doing here? Wasn't Elthon with her earlier? Will she scold me again because of what happened?

I sat in front of her.

"Cheat on him," she started and I was surprised by what she said.

"W-What?" I did not fully understand what she told me.

"Cheat on him and let him find out or let him see that you cheated, then divorce my son."

I'm confused right now but the only thing I understand is she wants me gone.

"Why? Why would I do that to my husband?!"

"You know from the start that I don't like you for my son! If you weren't pregnant at the time he married you, I would never have allowed the two of you to get married that day, then what? You lost your baby because of your stupidity! And now I want you to stay away from my son and never let him see you again!"

"No, I love Elthon, Auntie! I will never divorce him--"

"If you still want to see your parents, you will follow what I say." I was suddenly silent at the last thing she said.

"W-What do you s-say Auntie Ella?"

I feel that my hand is getting cold from being so nervous.

"If you won't stay away from my son, I'll make sure you never see your mom and dad again." That's when my tears flowed after she said those words.

Yes, I left my parents for the man I love but I won't let them get hurt!

"A-Are you that desperate, Auntie? Just for Elthon and I to be get separated... you're going to threaten me using my p-parents?!" She was just staring at me seriously now and she even managed to raise an eyebrow at me.

"Why don't you just let us go? We're happy, we're very happy--"

"Not me, I'm not happy for you two! The girl I want for my son is Cheryl!"

Cheryl used to be Elthon's friend, when Elthon found out that Cheryl had feelings for him, he distanced himself from her, especially when she returned and try to steal Elthon from me.

"W-What do I have to do to make you like me? What does Cheryl have that I don't have?"

Probably, the first reason is that her family is rich like Elthon. Besides, she's smart and beautiful... but am I beautiful too? The only thing I don't have is that I don't come from a rich family.

"You don't need to do anything Nicole because no matter what you do, I won't like you for my son and especially don't dream of being like Cheryl, because a poor girl like you should always be in the ground. Know your place, Nicole, you don't belong to rich people like us."

I stood up and laughed out loud at what she said.

"Really? Poor girl? Know my place? Rich people like us? We're all the same people who just live here on earth! Honestly, I don't want to answer you because you're my husband's mother, but I've already been holding back for so long!"

"Don't underestimate me Auntie because I know you also come from a poor family! Now you only care about wealth but when it comes to brains you are nothing!"

I touch my cheek because she suddenly slapped me. 

"You have guts now to fight huh!!" She shouted and grabbed my jaw.

"You and I are different! Don't compare me to yourself, do you understand that!!" The only thing I could do was cry when she started pulling my hair.
