Zara.

It was Tiara and Tayo's white wedding day or should I say Pink wedding day by virtue of Tiara deciding to be rebellious and wear a Pink wedding dress. We were all in the hotel getting read and Tanna and I had our own room with Lakisha who decided to join us there. Anita was the maid of honor so she had to stay with the bride.

The hotel suite was littered with makeup products, hair products and boxes that belonged to us and the makeup artists and ring lights everywhere. We all stayed in a corner doing our makeup when Aminu FaceTimed me. He looked fresh and already wearing his groomsman suit with dark sunglasses on.

"Hey Princess" he said through the phone.

"Wow you look good." I said not able to hold the complement in. He really looked breathtaking.

"Of course I do." He said. Ve

Zara. The wedding was stunning. The most emotional I'd ever seen. And I thought Aminu and I'd engagement was emotional. I was lost for words during the vows that a tear almost rolled down my eyes. I felt as so much love and genuineness was poured into those vows and I was blown away. It made me imagine how my wedding would be. I looked across the platform to where Aminu was sitting. It turns out his eyes were also on me.He smiled at me and I grinned. He then mouthed a 'Love you' which I reciprocated and turned back to the event. Tanna was bawling her eyes out beside me. For some reason, she took it more personal than I did. I just hoped things with her and Louis were going fine because she was always avoiding the topic so I decided not to meddle. The wedding ceremony had come to an end and I was mingling with my friends and waiting for the go ahead to the dome where the after party was to be held, w

Aminu. The wedding was a blast but what would be a better blast was having my woman by on top of me, fulfilling that delicious promise she made just before the wedding. We were about to go on our own honeymoon tonight. After the wedding was over and I was done with my grooms man duties, I went over to the table at which my sister, Zara and her friends were seated at. The issue was that from afar, I noticed that Zara was not there with them. I decided to go closer to see if I could get an answer as to where she went."Lotanna, where's Zara?" I asked when I finally got to her front. She had this worried look on her face and I just hoped and prayed that nothing was wrong with my Zara."I was about to come look fo you and Louis. Zara went home to get the gifts she forgot over an hour ago and hasn't returned." She said and my heart began knocking in my chest."What? Have you called her

Zara."Where are you taking me??" I yelled and strong hands latched onto me and carried me through the woods and bushes. I was utterly scared for my life as I wept for release."Please.." I cried "please release me." I said but I got no response from the person who carried me. I couldn't see his face. I could only hear the grunts coming from his throat as he stomped his feet in the leaves, taking me to God knows where."Please somebody help" I screamed but my voice just echoed through the empty wood. "Please" I screamed, thinking that someone, anyone would come to my rescue.Aminu, Louis. Where was everyone when I needed them the most. Where were they.I fought the urge to give up and kept screaming for help.Suddenly my body harshly hit the ground and I almost hit my head. I still couldn't see the face of the

Third PersonIt had been two days since Zara was kidnapped. Nothing had been heard from the police, everyone was on edge and trying to hide it from the older ones. The police were doing their best to search the environment where the car was found and beyond as well to see if they could find something that would either lead them to her or even more, find her.Aminu felt so helpless. Zara was a pure soul that didn’t deserve all this horror. He hoped in his heart that those devils hadn’t done something to her. It terrified him so much just thinking of what she might be going through. He tried to stay strong as he sipped his whiskey, sitting in Louis’ bar thinking about her. He could not seem to get her out of his thoughts. Not that he wanted to anyways. But sometimes, the thoughts were terrifying. Sometimes, he had nightmares of her being killed by being drowned, stabbed while he watched helplessly, unable to move. That was ho

Zara.My eyes fluttered opened to those bright lights again as I tried to make sense of my environment. It took me a second to realize that I was still in this hell hole kidnappers lair. I was exhausted and beat up and I probably had bruises on my face from the abundant slaps that good ole kidnapper henchman gave me. I did feel sore in that area. So maybe a red mark or two. There was no mirror to check with.I tried to sit up, thinking I was tied but I wasn't. My hands and legs were free of ropes. I was thinking that after my last stunt with stabbing the guy with the fork would have gotten me tied in chains and gagged as punishment but they left me free although of course the door and windows were shut. I silently hoped the man I stabbed wasn't in any fatal condition. I didn't want to kill anyone. I just wanted my freedom and I feel horrible for stabbing him in the first place. But I wasn't made to be kept hostage for a reason I didn't know.

Aminu. My head was banging to no end. I was awake and conscious but I knew what opening my eyes would mean. But the constant knocking on my hotel room door was getting me annoyed. Maybe if I didn't answer then that person would go away.Zara was still missing. There was still no update. I was still a mess. Still trying to figure out what at to start least save for the bounty we were putting out for her. A million dollars would go to the person who gave us the information that could be used to find her. That was over five hundred million Naira. It was nothing to me. I bought her a two million Naira Hermès bag. That money was pea sized to me but Zara. Oh Zara, she was everything. My soul was missing along with her.The incessant knocking made me finally open my eyes to bright lights that were super annoying. Who ever that it was better be someone relevant because if it was a staff, they'll definitely lose their job.

Zara.It was dark and gloomy, the skies. I was sitting in bed staring out the window. That was the only way I could get my freedom, but they're was no way out from there.Patrick lay beside me. We had talked and analyzed things together on how we were going to escape. My hope and faith were waning each second that we were still caged here. I was lonely, bored and missing my family. The fear in me had died down a little but it didn't change the fact that I wanted to be at home, not caged like a wild animal.Patrick was being very nice to me. He ate all the food they brought first to check for poisoning before I ate it. I was always afraid every time he put the food in his mouth. What if he died. I didn't like him but I didn't also want him to die.Since they brought Patrick in, the food had increased by triple. They brought us snacks and chocolates sometimes. It was quite weird how they were so articu

Zara. When nightfall finally came. We started to put our plan in action. I was quite skeptical about letting him go without me. But that was the only way to not be followed. We had planned that once he was out, I'd lie to them saying he went to use the loo so that no one would come after him. Then he would go and alert Aminu of my whereabouts and then his nightmare would hopefully come to an end."So I hope you know what to do?" Patrick asked me and I nodded."Yeah just sit here and look pretty. Oh and lie a lot" I said. He smiled."Even without a shower for three days you're still pretty" he complimented. I hummed awkwardly. I didn't want to give him any green lights. After that, he proceeded to using his hands to twist the iron bars of the protector. After over twenty minutes of twisting and grunting and groaning very quietly. He

Aminu. Previously... "Ma'am this is from Mr Garba" he said and gave me a card. "What's that?" Tanna asked. I opened it and smiled "aww it's a note" "Aww. Read it out" she said. So curious for gossip. I giggled. "To my Angel Wife, I remember the day we met. It was then that I knew that I wouldn't let you slip through my fingers. At first sight I knew that you were the one for me. I didn't care about anything else other than being with you from that moment. I just knew I wanted to see you happy. The love I feel for you is strong and eternal. My Queen, you are the light in my life, the air in my lungs. You give me purpose in every way and I am so happy you agreed to be with me forever. Zara Previously... "Sorry ma'am I didn't wasn't to keep you waiting so I had to let you in before they were done." Atafo apologised. "There's no need to apologise. I don't mind" I shrugged. Tanna who had been silent all along tapped me pointing at an armless gown she seemed to like. "That's a really cool design." Tanna said. "Feel free to move around and choose. I'll be waiting for what you decide. You can also have this notepad to write down your thoughts." He said and gave us a notepad. We began our search. The gowns on display were all breathtakingly gorgeous. I was so shook at what Atafo could actually do with those hands of his. I Was already imagining what my wedding dress would look like. "So do you have anything in mind?" Tanna asked me. "Yeah I have an idea of what I want. I want an armless dr

Zara Previously... "Do you miss Greece? We could go back soon if you want." He said taking my hand across the table. "Yeah but we will plan it this time Mimi. No surprises." I warned and he sat up, putting his hand on his chest. "Promise ma'am" he said. "Good. So what are we eating, I'm hungry." I said and took the menu. The dinner date was really fun. We had laughs and talked about everything. Also gossiped about a few of our friends. We basically dissected everything while violating table manners. But we didn't care. Once we were done with our three course meal of exquisite delicacies, as of on cue, music started to play. One of my favorite songs at the moment. Odo by Johnny Drille. "Can I have this dance ma cherie" Aminu held his hand out smiling while I laughed at something he had said earlier.

I said and folded my arms. "I used to be in love with you you know. Or should I say, infatuated." Patrick said and chuckled. It seemed as though he was finding himself amusing. "I know that" I said. I surprising was not feeling any emotions right now towards him. Everything was well and okay. He didn't disgust me the way Jasmine seemed to. "Yeah and you know I didn't intend to shoot you. Zara Previously... Your honor, my client is not guilty of the allegations on him. First of all, this child is legally his son which means he had all the right to have the boy in his custody however, the way it is being narrated is not how it happened. My client went to the Plaintiff's apartment which in his magnanimity he had given her, only to realize that she had run away from the house along with all her belongings leaving just the boy, the nanny and a letter confessing all her crimes against Mr Garba here. My client having a good heart, took the boy into his home even after finding out that the boy is not his. So your honor, this whole case is a lie and shouldn't even have been a case in the first place." My lawyer said and sat down. "Objection my Lord! There is no evidence to back his claim" Jasmine's attorney said.

Aminu. Previously... Almost a week had passed and it was finally the day that we would stand trial with the arbitrator. Aminu had pushed for it because he didn't want the stupid case to taint his brand which was the wise thing to do. The arbitrator would essentially keep everything on a low and not attract press to it. Or so I thought. I hadn't spoken to Aminu even after Tanna's intervention. Now I was ready and I was going to surprise him at the arbitrator's office. There was no way I would leave him to do this alone. I didn't tell Louis because his big mouth would tell Aminu in a heart beat. On getting to the venue for the trial, contrary to my belief, there was a swarm of press people with microphones and cameras at the doors to the building. What the hell? Who told them where it would be. I decided to hide and slip in undetected. I met a secur

I'm always scared of going home to him because he'll start hounding me with questions and crying again." I said rubbing my face in frustration thinking about how sad Nasir was that Zara wasn't there. "Did he do that when he was brought to your house in the first place. Like did he cry about Jasmine?" Louis with his nosiness asked. "Not at all. It was like he didn't know the difference. Nasir for her was always a tool to use to get what she wanted so I believe they didn't have much of a relationship with each other." I said and sipped my usual glass of whiskey. "Don't worry, she'll come around" he said and his eye twitched. That was something I learnt over the years to look out for if Louis

Anger rose in me and I had to fight of the urge to get my hands around his throat and kill him there and then. But then I had to allow the law take its course and Zara.. she wouldn't be happy with my line of action. "I've accepted my fate brother. I wish I did things better. I probably would get a life sentence or worse, be executed which I'll prefer because a life sentence is a fate worse than death. I have never asked you for anything before but I will do it now because this is a mutual need. Make sure Jasmine goes to jail or dies. That is my only wish." He said this time looking me in the eye. "That's easy. And for what it's worse. If you hadn't betrayed me and had told me about the fact that we were brothers from the onset, I would have accepted you with all the joy in the w
