Chapter 61

Zara.

It was dark and gloomy, the skies. I was sitting in bed staring out the window. That was the only way I could get my freedom, but they're was no way out from there.

Patrick lay beside me. We had talked and analyzed things together on how we were going to escape. My hope and faith were waning each second that we were still caged here. I was lonely, bored and missing my family. The fear in me had died down a little but it didn't change the fact that I wanted to be at home, not caged like a wild animal.

Patrick was being very nice to me. He ate all the food they brought first to check for poisoning before I ate it. I was always afraid every time he put the food in his mouth. What if he died. I didn't like him but I didn't also want him to die.
