Tayo and Tiara's wedding, tagged The T2 Affair was just a few days away and we were getting prepared for it like our lives depended on it, mostly because of Tiara's crankiness and perfectionist attitude. Tanna was fed up but I really didn't mind. I hadn't started planning my own wedding but who knew I could be worse.
Aminu was actually better now than few weeks ago when I told him about the resemblance between Patrick and Jasmine. He told me that he managed to get a few strands of hair from Nasir and would proceed to getting a test done on them both and also I advised him to get them to check if they were related in any other way. This was to be sure if Patrick was the father of that child.
I went into the Matopeda stall where Anita, Tanna and Tiara were already waiting for me. I came in late because Aminu came to my office in need of a quickie which was enjoyable but the stunts he pulled sometimes were very
Zara."So Lakisha..." I said but was abruptly cut off"Kiki.. please call me kiki" Lakisha interrupted and I smiled."Kiki it is.." I said and she continued eating "why didn't you like me at first. Is it just what Jasmine told you or something else.""Well, partly what Jazz said about you but more like, I didn't really know much about you prior to that so I actually thought your intentions weren't pure. She also made it seem as though you were stopping Aminu from coming close to his son." She said.I smiled "well, Aminu and I don't even discuss Jasmine and Nasir. Some times he talked about Nasir but never Jasmine except she did something. And I don't control Aminu. He's a man that handles his business his way. I don't meddle even when he involves me." I said and continued with my food. I just had to clarify things with her so that
Zara.It was Tiara and Tayo's white wedding day or should I say Pink wedding day by virtue of Tiara deciding to be rebellious and wear a Pink wedding dress. We were all in the hotel getting read and Tanna and I had our own room with Lakisha who decided to join us there. Anita was the maid of honor so she had to stay with the bride. The hotel suite was littered with makeup products, hair products and boxes that belonged to us and the makeup artists and ring lights everywhere. We all stayed in a corner doing our makeup when Aminu FaceTimed me. He looked fresh and already wearing his groomsman suit with dark sunglasses on."Hey Princess" he said through the phone."Wow you look good." I said not able to hold the complement in. He really looked breathtaking."Of course I do." He said. Ve
Zara. The wedding was stunning. The most emotional I'd ever seen. And I thought Aminu and I'd engagement was emotional. I was lost for words during the vows that a tear almost rolled down my eyes. I felt as so much love and genuineness was poured into those vows and I was blown away. It made me imagine how my wedding would be. I looked across the platform to where Aminu was sitting. It turns out his eyes were also on me.He smiled at me and I grinned. He then mouthed a 'Love you' which I reciprocated and turned back to the event. Tanna was bawling her eyes out beside me. For some reason, she took it more personal than I did. I just hoped things with her and Louis were going fine because she was always avoiding the topic so I decided not to meddle. The wedding ceremony had come to an end and I was mingling with my friends and waiting for the go ahead to the dome where the after party was to be held, w
Aminu. The wedding was a blast but what would be a better blast was having my woman by on top of me, fulfilling that delicious promise she made just before the wedding. We were about to go on our own honeymoon tonight. After the wedding was over and I was done with my grooms man duties, I went over to the table at which my sister, Zara and her friends were seated at. The issue was that from afar, I noticed that Zara was not there with them. I decided to go closer to see if I could get an answer as to where she went."Lotanna, where's Zara?" I asked when I finally got to her front. She had this worried look on her face and I just hoped and prayed that nothing was wrong with my Zara."I was about to come look fo you and Louis. Zara went home to get the gifts she forgot over an hour ago and hasn't returned." She said and my heart began knocking in my chest."What? Have you called her
Zara."Where are you taking me??" I yelled and strong hands latched onto me and carried me through the woods and bushes. I was utterly scared for my life as I wept for release."Please.." I cried "please release me." I said but I got no response from the person who carried me. I couldn't see his face. I could only hear the grunts coming from his throat as he stomped his feet in the leaves, taking me to God knows where."Please somebody help" I screamed but my voice just echoed through the empty wood. "Please" I screamed, thinking that someone, anyone would come to my rescue.Aminu, Louis. Where was everyone when I needed them the most. Where were they.I fought the urge to give up and kept screaming for help.Suddenly my body harshly hit the ground and I almost hit my head. I still couldn't see the face of the
Third PersonIt had been two days since Zara was kidnapped. Nothing had been heard from the police, everyone was on edge and trying to hide it from the older ones. The police were doing their best to search the environment where the car was found and beyond as well to see if they could find something that would either lead them to her or even more, find her.Aminu felt so helpless. Zara was a pure soul that didn’t deserve all this horror. He hoped in his heart that those devils hadn’t done something to her. It terrified him so much just thinking of what she might be going through. He tried to stay strong as he sipped his whiskey, sitting in Louis’ bar thinking about her. He could not seem to get her out of his thoughts. Not that he wanted to anyways. But sometimes, the thoughts were terrifying. Sometimes, he had nightmares of her being killed by being drowned, stabbed while he watched helplessly, unable to move. That was ho
Zara.My eyes fluttered opened to those bright lights again as I tried to make sense of my environment. It took me a second to realize that I was still in this hell hole kidnappers lair. I was exhausted and beat up and I probably had bruises on my face from the abundant slaps that good ole kidnapper henchman gave me. I did feel sore in that area. So maybe a red mark or two. There was no mirror to check with.I tried to sit up, thinking I was tied but I wasn't. My hands and legs were free of ropes. I was thinking that after my last stunt with stabbing the guy with the fork would have gotten me tied in chains and gagged as punishment but they left me free although of course the door and windows were shut. I silently hoped the man I stabbed wasn't in any fatal condition. I didn't want to kill anyone. I just wanted my freedom and I feel horrible for stabbing him in the first place. But I wasn't made to be kept hostage for a reason I didn't know.
Aminu. My head was banging to no end. I was awake and conscious but I knew what opening my eyes would mean. But the constant knocking on my hotel room door was getting me annoyed. Maybe if I didn't answer then that person would go away.Zara was still missing. There was still no update. I was still a mess. Still trying to figure out what at to start least save for the bounty we were putting out for her. A million dollars would go to the person who gave us the information that could be used to find her. That was over five hundred million Naira. It was nothing to me. I bought her a two million Naira Hermès bag. That money was pea sized to me but Zara. Oh Zara, she was everything. My soul was missing along with her.The incessant knocking made me finally open my eyes to bright lights that were super annoying. Who ever that it was better be someone relevant because if it was a staff, they'll definitely lose their job.
