Ean was unfazed. "Court? Jail would be way too easy for you! Throw him in!"

No matter how the perpetrator pleaded, Ean would not let him off. He locked him in the freezer and posted guards outside.

After a few hours, there was no more noise from inside.

Looking at the now frozen stiff man, Ean coldly ordered, "Bring Helen here."

Helen probably never thought her plan would fail. When Ean dragged her to the freezer, she started shaking like a leaf. From the look on her face, it was obvious she had something to do with my death.

"Ean, what's wrong?" Helen's voice quivered.

"Helen, the day you were locked in the office, was it really Madeline who did it?" Ean's eyes bore into hers, unyielding.

Helen's face went pale. "I-I don't blame her. Madeline didn't mean to. It was an accident! Why dig this up now, Ean? It's been so long," Helen said, trying to regain her composure.

Ean's lips curled into a bitter smile. "Why? To finally get the truth, Helen."
