Ean's influential status made the police tread carefully. They persuaded him to release my body for an autopsy. "We need to know what happened," one officer said gently.

Ean hesitated, his eyes filled with anguish. However, he finally relented. "Fine. Just... find out what went wrong."

As I watched him, I could not help but mutter bitterly, "Ean, when you find out the truth, please don’t cry over my grave."

News of my death spread like wildfire. Ean sat in the hospital hallway, looking like a broken man. Helen approached, her face etched with concern.

She wrapped her arms around him. "Ean, you have to stay strong. She's gone, and nothing can bring her back."

His eyes were hollow. "Why? Who would do this to her? I just wanted her to back off a little. Why did this have to happen?"

Helen's body trembled, but there was a glint of something else in her eyes.

Suddenly, Helen's face went pale. "Ean... I feel... dizzy..." she whispered, collapsing into his arms.
