CHAPTER 2: The Meeting

At the Werewolf Kingdom:

Kenji is a playful werewolf and doesn’t like his life as a successor. He is the alpha of their kingdom. He is the most powerful and can do everything. But currently, his dad is the king alpha of their kingdom. These werewolves have two forms, their normal form which is very identical to a human form, and their werewolf/true form. Normally, they are in their normal form.

One day, Kenji did something to disappoint his dad and he was cursed by a grim reaper. He intervened at the time of death from the human world. He was unaware that it wasn’t allowed. For him to redeem everything, he should deceive a woman in the human world. Kenji should make her fall for him within two years. Then once the woman’s heart is in love with him 100%, he must kill her and take her heart. He should bring it to the grim reaper so that the curse will be lifted. If he will do that he can be forgiven by his father and redeem himself. If he won’t kill her, he will be the one who is going to be killed by the grim reaper. 

At their palace,

Kenji was still in his bed. ‘Today is the day. I am now fully prepared.’ Kenji thought. He then got up and did a backflip to get off his bed.

But the prime minister came in and was holding an envelope. Kenji approached him. “Should I go now?” He asked the prime minister.

Prime Minister Jameson shook his head and walked towards Kenji’s desk. He put the envelope there and opened it. He then spread out the files on the table. Kenji got curious and teleported to the Prime Minister’s side. He scanned the files and then looked at the prime minister, “what are these?” Kenji asked.

The Prime Minister looked at Kenji. “Your Highness, these are the profiles of your potential target. Please choose from them.” Prime Minister Jameson stated.

Kenji nodded at him and scanned the files. But he got drawn into someone. “Madeleine Wright also known as Maddie Oh.” Kenji read.

He then reviewed Maddie’s file and then he grinned. “I will target this popular celebrity. I think she’s vulnerable.” Kenji assumed.

Prime Minister Jameson tilted his head and looked at Kenji. “Why do you think so, Your Highness?” He asked.

“Because it says here that she’s always heartbroken, once she sees me she will fall in love right away with me and won’t be able to resist my hotness! Hahaha!” Kenji boasted and laughed.

Prime Minister Jameson still showed an emotionless face; he then clapped his hand once. “Alright, you have to go to Paris, France. You have two human years to fulfill your mission. Good luck, Your Highness.” Prime Minister Jameson said.

Kenji smirked at him. “I am prepared and I will kill Maddie Oh.”  He said with determination.

Kenji leaving the werewolf kingdom and having a mission from the grim reaper must remain a secret for them to protect their image. Before living, Kenji decided to go to his father’s office room. “Your Majesty, I am fully equipped to kill a human. I won’t let you down.” Kenji said with a serious facial expression.

King Kyler stood up from his chair and faced Kenji. “Son, good luck. I will wait for you. You will lead this kingdom soon.” King Kyler said.

Kenji nodded and bowed. He then left the office but outside, there was Renji, his older brother, standing.

“Why are you here?” Kenji asked him. Renji approached him.

“Good luck, Kenji. Let’s see if you will succeed and remain the alpha of this kingdom. If not, I won’t ever see you again.” Renji said and he then smirked at Kenji. He moved closer. “If you fail, you will be killed off and I will become the successor. Or should I say the alpha?” Renji whispered at Kenji as he mocked him.

Kenji glared at him and shoved Renji away. “I will be successful, trust your little brother.” Kenji responded sarcastically. He walked away from Renji and just ignored him.

Kenji left their palace and then jumped around their front yard. “I am going to miss everything, but I will come back and make everyone proud!” He said to himself while jumping around. He arrived at the garden where the well was located. He sat there facing the well and looked down. “Maddie Oh, I am going to kill you!” He screamed and then jumped into the well. That well is the gate to the human world from the Werewolf Kingdom.

Kenji arrived in the human world and he was lying down under the Eiffel Tower. He got up and was touching his back. “Ugh, it hurts huh?” He mumbled. But then he heard something.

“Hey, are you that popular actress, Maddie?”

Kenji’s eyes widened as he heard it from somewhere else. Kenji’s ears were moving for him to find where the location. ‘I am so fortunate! Maddie is just nearby.’ Kenji thought. He walked around and looked for the exact location.

Kenji finally found them but he saw that scene where Maddie and two thugs already took her photos and now they wanted to rob her. “Hey, where’s your wallet or phone? Just give that to us.” That someone said. Maddie shook her head. “No! I won’t give it to you!” She then tried to stand up but she fell to the ground. She gaped and wanted to run away from the thugs.

Kenji twisted his mouth and stretched his arms. “It’s showtime!” He said while smirking. Kenji jumped off in front of the two thugs. The two thugs stopped chasing Maddie. Kenji showed off his red eyes and fangs. The two thugs got scared and just ran away. “Aahhh! Monster!” They screamed in unison. Maddie, being so high and dizzy stopped running but she slowly turned around.

“Who are you?” She mumbled while her eyesight was so blurry. She could see Kenji’s back but it was so blurry. Maddie then passed out.

Kenji turned around and saw Maddie collapse on the ground. He then approached her with his fast speed and carried her bridal style. “I am so excited to kill you, Maddie Oh.” Kenji murmured while looking at her.

Kenji was walking and wondered where he should go. “Where is her house? From our research, she lives in the penthouse of the condominium but there are lots of buildings around here.” Kenji asked himself as he was checking out the buildings around them.

“Oh? Is that Maddie?” Someone saw them and recognized Maddie. Kenji’s eyes widened and covered Maddie’s face with her hair. ‘Oh, I am screwed! They might think that I kidnapped her and I will be the bad guy here! No no! I should be a hero here!’ Kenji thought as he worried that his plan would fail.

He teleported and went to the very top of a particular building, still carrying Maddie. Maddie was still unconscious. He looked at her. “Maybe I should just have chosen a normal person, not a celebrity!” He said and felt frustrated.

Kenji was still looking for Maddie’s penthouse while jumping around the area, carrying Maddie. Kenji still hasn't found it and just decided to book a hotel for Maddie.

He brought Maddie to the room he booked for her. He laid her down on the bed but Maddie’s eyes opened while Kenji was fixing Maddie’s bed and looking at Maddie’s eyes. Kenji’s eyes widened. ‘Damn, she caught me.’ Kenji thought. But Maddie grabbed his face and kissed Kenji’s lips. Kenji was so surprised and couldn’t even move.
