Surprises

Scarlet and Kesley have gone back to their various pack.

There are four types of pack; Dynamite pack, flowind pack, Night sky pack, and CR pack.

Scarlet is from the Dynamite pack while Kesley is from surging pack. Scarlet arrived home and was surprised that no one welcomed her. All of them were busy with one thing or the other.

She went to her mother and asked her what was going on. She was ignored, and she went to her room to unpack her belongings. Her room door opened but she did not turn.

"I have good and bad news for you, which one do you want to hear first?"

Scarlet continued to do what she was doing.

"Am talking to you Scarlet"

Scarlet turned to look at her sister Edwina. She and her sister were not on good terms, so what was this news that her sister wanted to tell her?

"Wina wina"

"Am here"

Abby followed the direction of Edwina's voice which led to Scarlet room and was surprised, at Scarlet.

"You are back"

"You came at the right time Abby I was about to tell Scarlet the good news"

Scarlet was not comfortable and was about to leave but Edwina stopped her.

"What Scarlet, are you scared"

"let me be Wina, am not in your mood"

"What did you just call me, you don't have that right, I won't waste your time"

Scarlet stared at her sister with anger, she knows what she could do when she was angry, but she managed to control herself.

"The good news is that Abby is getting married to Father's omega son, Jackson, and your beloved grandmother has died, am done"

"let's go win"

Scarlet by the side of the door dejected.

She could not take it, she could accept the fact that Jackson chose her cousin's sister as his mate but not the death of her grandmother. The only person who valued her in this world and cared for her. Her parents too care for her but not in the same way they did with her sisters. They said she was cursed and she was going to bring bad luck to them only her grandmother did not believe in it. Her mother too did not believe but at a certain time, she started to have doubt.

Scarlet did not know what to do, she didn't know if she was to cry or not because she knows that it won't bring her grandmother

back.

She decided to go to their family cemetery.

She noticed that no one was guiding the cemetery and went in, she knelt in front of her grave crying. As her tears touched her grandmother's grave, her spirit appeared.

"Why, why did you leave me all alone?"

"I did not leave you, am always with you so don't cry, my daughter"

"No you left me, I came back and no one welcomed me, but you would have waited for me to return"

"Don't worry Scarlet, when the time comes you will find someone who will cherish and love you"

"It is not possible, my mate rejected me for Abby and he's getting married soon."

"You will soon find the right person"

"But it has never happened for someone to have a second mate" Scarlet cleaned her tears waiting for what her grandma will say.

"Your case is different my daughter, listen my time will soon be up, Scarlet you have to stop being soft"

"I can't and I don't know why"

"You have to, go to my room, open the wardrobe you will see a box, only your tears can open it but don't open it now, when the time comes you open"

"But how will I know?"

"You will surely know"

Her spirit disappeared and scarlet left the cemetery, she met her father on the way and greeted him.

"Good morning father"

"You are back," he said coldly and left

Scarlet remembered what her grandma told her and ignored his words.

The next day Scarlet dressed up for the wedding ceremony and followed her family members, she saw Kesley and stayed beside her.

Scarlet and Kesley were chatting and chuckling during the ceremony.

Scarlet was grateful to have such a friend who was always by her side.

She always which that Kesley will have a kind and loving mate.

After the wedding ceremony, Scarlet followed Kesley to her house which was far from her pack, she did not care cause she knew that they did not need her, they were going to celebrate her cousin's wedding with their in-law and she could not bear to see Jackson at home with her cousin.

"Kesley I have something to tell you"

"Go ahead"

"My grandmother is dead am left alone"

"No, you have me, Scarlet, you are not alone"

"You are right, but once you get married won't you forget about me?"

"Never, never it will never happen".

Scarlet ate and drank with kesley and went back home.

She met her inlaws, she thought they will be gone by now.

"Where were you"

She did not answer him and lowered her head.

"Come, come and greet our in-laws"

She went closer and greeted them except Jackson.

"Why are you being rude, won't you greet my husband"

She raised her head and met his gaze and greeted him. She was about to leave but her father looked at her, she understood what he meant by that and joined them to eat. The only seat left was the one opposite Jackson, she had no other choice than to sit there.

"Why are you not eating"

"Am not hungry"

"Why my daughter, you should eat to nourish your body"

Scarlet saw Abby kissing jackson, she knew that Abby did that to make her feel jealous.

"So sweet," Edwina said looking at scarlet to see her reaction.

" Am not feeling too well, I'll leave now"

"What's the matter, are you jealous"

"Enough wina"

Scarlet didn't pay attention to her sister and went to her room.
