“Oh. That silly grandson of mine! So he'd rather suffer than be with her? Knowing well that tonight is a full moon” Henrietta wondered what was going on in Ethan's mind.

She understands that he might see her as being weak compared to him but there must be a reason the moon goddess paired them together. Also, a prophecy had been said about an Alpha and a human pair before now. Although, even Ethan himself does not know about this.

“What do I do grandmother? He has met her already so the full moon will feel different tonight. I doubt if the wolfsbane in him will be able to hold him down.” Kael spoke worriedly.

Aside from being his Alpha, Ethan has been his best friend since childhood. They grew together, experienced each other's first shift, trained together before he was eventually crowned Alpha after a rogue attack that left them orphaned.

Although Ethan is always aloof and stubborn, he knows more than anyone how nice he is downward. He only needs to experience true and genuine love. Who knows, maybe a human mate is all he needs after all to return to the cheerful Ethan.

Moreover the Luna, Miss Natalie doesn't look bad. Even Xeres, his own wolf, recognized her immediately. His only worry is how both mates will be together without the thought of their differences.

“Do you perhaps know where she lives? I mean Ethan's mate.”

“I don't know but I can get that from our employee’s file since they live together. Although, I suspect that they live on the street where our new company is”

“That is fine. Now, you will find a way to meet with her, find every possible means to explain to her in the human way what she is to Ethan. You have been dealing with humans for some years now, so you should know how best to let her know. After that, make sure you bring her over to Ethan tonight itself.”

“Bring her to Ethan? Isn't that dangerous grandmother?”

“She is his mate. Remember? No werewolf will hurt their mate. Yes, he might not want her but his wolf will always recognize her as their mate. If he goes into heat tonight, even the deadliest wolfsbane won't hold him back from causing havoc. Remember what happened two years ago?”

How could he forget two years ago? It was a full moon night which put the whole pack in chaos. Ethan's wolf suddenly sounded a howl which sent fear and terror down the spine of every pack member.

At first, it began like what seemed to be a run which is a routine for werewolves especially when they are stressed, they let their wolf run in the woods to cool off. Later on, the Alpha's wolf began to attack anything on its way that it couldn't even differentiate rogues from his pack members.

The warriors had to be called upon to chain him down with silver and that alone took hours before they could succeed, after several injuries. No one knows what triggered such a ferocious act till date but the pack doctor said he believes it is related to his mate whom he was yet to find.

That was when he advised that a bit of wolfsbane be added to his food every month to keep the ferocity abase until he found his mate and completed the mating process.

If nothing is being done before night falls, it is most likely that history will repeat itself and it will be worse since they are presently in human’s territory.

How will he handle this?

“Alright, grandmother. I will try my best but do you think she will agree to come with me? Won't she freak out because we are all aware that to humans, we are fantasy and not real.”

“You just have to tell her. You might not tell her all about us, just tell her the important things she needs to know. Ethan will tell her in detail later.”

“Okay, grandmother. I will let you know the outcome later.”

“Very good my boy. Thank you.” Henrietta said quietly while whispering prayers in her mind.

“Miss Natalie, do you believe in love at first sight?” Kael asked which made the both of them stop their steps.

For Natalie, she was surprised at why this man who urgently pleaded to see her would ask such a question. As for Kael, he was expectant on what her answer would be. From there, he could take it up.

“Although, I don't fully agree with that, I can say there are some people whom we feel a natural attraction to even at their first meet.”

“Wow. I see. What do you think if I say my boss has that kind of attraction towards you?”

“Me? You must be joking right?” Natalie couldn't believe her eyes. Ethan Woods attracted to her? Maybe the world is about coming to an end.

“Miss Natalie, I know this might sound like a joke to you but this is just the truth. Earlier on, what happened in the supermarket was not a misunderstanding as you may have thought. It was the first sight attraction that made him approach you that way.” Kael tried to explain the best way he could.

All Natalie could do was to open her mouth agape, looking at Kael. No matter how much she tried, she couldn't find any word proceeding from her mouth.

Ethan Woods is attracted to her at first sight? That's just a not so funny joke?

“Mr Kael, I still want to believe this is a misunderstanding. This evening was my first time seeing Mr Ethan and it was only on the basis of misunderstanding. Claiming a person as his possession as all.” Natalie, still trying to reason with him, said quickly.

“I understand you but he has a reason for doing that”

“And that reason is?” Natalie queried with a confused mind.
