Chapter 2

"Don't lie to me, I know the girls like you,"

Daisy felt the misunderstanding

"I'm sorry, sir, there is some confusion. I am not the one whom you are thinking, "

Harper glanced at the young girl in front of her, who was still denying that his family had not sent her to seduce him, Harper looked into her eyes and waited for the answer and when she didn't respond, he let go of her, saying, "if that's the case, now get out of here."

Daisy was afraid to go outside. She was terrified that a man still waiting outside to take revenge on her, she tried her luck again:

"Can you please let me stay here for five minutes?" Someone is following me; I'll call a friend, and she'll be there in five minutes."

This time, Daisy makes a pleading face. She always makes this face whenever she tries to confess to her parents or wants something.

After looking at her pleading face and reluctance to leave the room, Harper was convinced that someone had sent her

Harper, who had not sensed anyone's presence in the corridor, became irritated; he had already wasted enough time on her, so he grabbed her arm and shoved her outside the room, closing the door in her face.

After closing the door, his breathing became much harder, so he called his secretary and went into the bathroom to take a cold shower; a simple medication cannot bring down a business tycoon like him, who has seen a lot in his earlier years.

Daisy looked at the door, enraged. She wanted to knock on the door again but controlled her rage and took out her phone to call Ashley.

Daisy did not dare to go anywhere and remained outside the doorway within five minutes.

Ashley arrived

"What are you doing in this section, do you know that all the people inside this section are those who are not to be triggered at any cost," Ashley said as she dragged Daisy towards the club's exit.

After taking a cold shower and some medication Harper felt relaxed, he was sitting on the sofa and drinking his tea when Albert, Harper's assistant, brought the report and placed it in front of him; he smirked as he looked at the report in his hand; the report contained just half of the information.

"Mr. William, we discovered that they had trained a woman to seduce you. But….."

“But what Albert”

“I'm sorry, sir, but I have no idea who this woman is."

Harper put down the report and stood up.

"You don't need to look at the girl's information; I already know who she is."

After exiting the taxi, Daisy looked at the unique structure of a skyscraper in front of her.

She became mesmerized after looking at the skyscraper where the words 'Kings Corporation' were inscribed in gold and black.

"Best of luck Daisy, you can do it," she exhaled deeply.

She sprinted towards the building after motivating herself.

"All of the information that you required has been gathered, Mr. William."

He was on his way to the office after parking his car in the parking lot when his assistant said, "OK, put that on my table."

He brought out his phone and dialed a number; after a few seconds, the phone was answered.

"Hey Mum"

"I am not your mum."

Harper grinned and replied, "If that's the case, I'll hang up."

"Don't you dare Harper, you are getting a lot more rebellious with every passing day, you're going to come home for the holidays, it's been a long time since you last visited"

Harper dislikes family gatherings, but he does not want to disappoint his mother. He talks about other things and ignores the topic of family gathering, Mrs. William also know his reluctance to attend family gathering so she did not pursue it anymore

"OK, If you say so"

He was about to get into the elevator and hang up the phone when someone ran into him; as a result of the incident, Harper's phone fell.

He looked at his phone whose screen got damaged, he picked up the phone and wanted to ignore the person who collided with him, but after looking at the person's face he became irritated.

Daisy looked at the broken screen of his phone and said, "Sorry," without looking at the man's angry face.

"Shut up You're sorry can't repair my phone" Daisy raises her head and looks at the man, who wears his tailored suit like a crown, emanating confidence and style. His perfect taste, along with his towering stature, makes him a genuine embodiment of elegance and refinement, yet his rage and icy demeanor make her fearful

"You have to pay for the damage you caused"

Daisy awoke from her trance and looked at the stingy man; she was not the only one who had a different feeling; In the distance, Albert was also shocked at how his boss could ask a girl for this little money, "Why do I need to give you money, you were the one who was not looking ahead"

Harper looked at the boldness of the girl who put all the blame on him, there was not a trace of regret on her face.

"You will have to pay"

After saying that he completely ignored her and stormed into the elevator, Albert looking at the angry girl stomped her feet and followed Harper. Daisy also wants to get into the elevator, but Harper was quick on his action and closed the door.

"Who he thinks he is, Mr. Berserk, you just wait and watch, Daisy Parker will not spare you"....

On the outside of the elevator, Daisy swore not to spare him, She was seething with anger how could someone close the door in her face again and again

When both of them entered the Harper office, Albert pulled out today's schedule and began alerting them about the meeting.

Harper did not even look at the schedule and just replied with an “ok” gesture and got busy with his work.
