CHAPTER FOURTEEN: Do i?

Isabella walk through the hall tiredly, her heart aching and she could not pinpoint why. She ignores the maids greetings and walk to the large living room where she saw joyce crying.

" Huh, Joyce what's going on ? " She rush to her friend in concerned.

Joyce took her time before sniffing.

" I saw it. I saw how step father attacked you. He doesn't seem like himself, although i am scared of the beast that live in him but he is never like that. He love mum a lot. I just don't understand why he killed... " Tears didn't allow her to finish. She burst into tears sniffing.

" Oh goodness, come here darling " Isabella cooed , walking to joyce to gave her a hug. " Hayden will keep him in control " she said silently before patting her back.

Just then the door bell rang out, the maid answered it. A minute later Farrell walk into the living room slowly.

The best friend regard him with surprise expression. He shifted uncomfortably as if he was been forced to enter.

"  joyce? " He called exchanging glances between Isabella and Joyce for he doesn't recognize her.

" Yes " Joyce answered getting on her feet. " What is wrong with step father? " She asked gently keeping her emotions at bay.

Farrell smile ruefully at her.

" Master needs you to come, your step father is at Beast clan" he said and Joyce quickly step forward eager to follow him.

" No! " Isabella countered " i will go with her " She said stepping forward also but Farrell shot her a narrow look.

" No, master doesn't want to see you. He made it clear to me that you shouldn't tag along, do not worry. Joyce will be safe " he turn to Joyce with a small pitiful smile " Let's go "

Joyce face Isabella who was getting very angry at Hayden already.

" I will be fine." Joyce inform her friend and walk out with Farrell.

Farrell sat behind the wheel expecting Joyce to sit at the back but his expectation doesn't come true because Joyce open the car door and sat beside him.

He shifted uncomfortably before starting the car. He finally pulled into beast clan and alighted. He waited patiently for Joyce to come down as well and they both walk into the big company.

Hayden sat back wondering why Isabella words has hurt him so much.

"  I don't think you have the right to tell me what to do. " He clenched his jaw tightly in annoyance. He has been giving orders throughout his life and had become accustom to it but tonight Isabella shrugging him off hurt his ego.

He raised up his head to see Joyce and Farrell. He could feel the sadness in Joyce's heart, he stood up and walk to her before pulling her to a hug.

WHAT! Hayden hug me??. Oh my goodness, this moment shouldn't end. Joyce scream to herself.

As usual it works out. Hayden has felt her sadness and her great desire to be closer to him. Now that he granted her wish , her sadness ease up a bit.

" Your step father has lost his mind. I really do not know what happens to those three that go berserk and i fear if i didn't take any action they will ran away again so I'm sending them to the cave. " He explained to Joyce who stare at his face dreamily.

If it wasn't for the presence situation and that he was planning to get Bethroed with her best friend she wouldn't mind to invite Hayden to bed.

He is just insanely handsome. She thought to herself.

" Do you want to see him ? " Hayden asked gently but joyce who has regain control of herself hanged her head sadly before shooking it.

" I don't, just send him peacefully to the cave. "She sniffed to keep herself from crying " can i go home now? "

" Yes but wait. Your step father was one of my favorite employee here in beast clan. Will you mind taking his post if you want? "

Joyce stop breathing for a moment, turning to Hayden with a shock expression.

" Really? You mean here? " She asked in disbelief and Hayden nodded.

" Don't be too delight, you will have to work hard if you agree to be my employee and i can be mean something so ... "

" Of course Hayden... Oh I'm sorry. I mean uh... Master ... Right? " She asked stammaring. She couldn't believe she has been asked to be an employee in beast clan.

As far as she knows almost every females in double world desire to work with the sexy Hayden dark.

After concluding to work in beast clan starting from the next week Joyce was sent home.

She alighted from the car , waving at Farrell , she walk into MT castle smiling happily.

She was quite happy , Thanks to the little conversation she had with the leader of beasts family .

She tiptoed softly to her room not wanting to alert Martin or Isabella step mother.

She walk into her comfy large room and sat on the bed smiling.

" What is so funny ? " Isabella asked from the doorway , her voice jerking Joyce back to reality.

" Issy " she called standing up. Isabella walk to her, her hands folded beneath her breasts.

" What is the visit about. Is your step father okay ? Did you see Hayden? " She asked reluctantly. She couldn't help but feel miserable when Joyce Left without her. The thought of Hayden not wanting to see her makes her hurt somehow.

" Of course, issy i really love the leader of beasts family. He is so cute and considerate. He even offer me a job "

" Huh? Hayden offer you a job? At where? " She asked in awe.

" Where else? Beasts clan of course. You know he is the CEO.  " Joyce replied in a singsong voice.

" No way, the beast clan isn't meant for humans. The company is full of Beasts " She replied with concealed jealousy.

" I heard humans work there too and their pay is very okay. I could get back home and start living by myself  as i have ,always "

Isabella rolled her eyes smirking.

" I don't think dad will allow that. You're part of Martin family now "

She said to joyce but she wasn't even listening , she sniffed her clothes passionately and smiled brightly to the surprise of Isabella.

" I think he gave you more than a job " she murmured trying to sound uninterested.

" Sure,he gave me a hug "

WHAT THE FUCK!  Isabella scream loudly to herself.

" Tell me you are kidding " She said in a trembling voice that Joyce stop to stare at her, confused.

" Why are you getting worked up? I thought you said you do not like this guy "

" He is my fiance for goodness sake, he shouldn't be flirting around " She quickly replied in annoyance.

Joyce stop her face wide with surprise

" Isabella " she called in a serious tone.  " I think you love him "

" What? " She asked in fear. Not wanting to believe it.

" You love him, Hayden dark. I think you finally fall for him "

" Did i ? How can i fall for him just like that ?" She asked silently wishing she was wrong.
