CHAPTER FIFTEEN: Disappointed by him

It has been almost two weeks since Isabella saw Hayden. She has heard from joyce who was now working at beast clan that he has gone to the cave.

She couldn't deny that she miss him a lot.

Had i know he will be gone this long i would have been nice to him on  the last day i saw him.  She thought to herself.

She walk out of her room that morning to get herself a cup of coffee. Walking sluggishly she made her way to the large kitchen. She saw Martin on the way and she greeted politely.

Martin stare at her carefully.

" Your fiance is back " he announced. Isabella eyes open widely at the news.

" Really? He is back? " She asked happily.

" Yes, his father has been to me. He want to speed up the wedding so the date was changed. We have both agreed to held the wedding ceremony next week "

Isabella stood still suddenly, her features froze in death.

" Dad you can't do this ... Will i be living with Hayden after we got married ? "

Martin stare at his daughter in confusion.

" You prefer to live here after you got married? " He asked with a hint of sarcasm.

Isabella wanted to protest but Martin held up a hand to stop her.

" Let's do this, I don't want to get on pride dark bad side. He wants you as his daughter in law in a week time " he said with a tone of finality and walk off.

Isabella stare at him in surprise.

But surprisingly she doesn't feel sad and angry as she always does and that bothers her greatly.

She walk into het room to get dress and to visit Hayden.

Hayden walk into his father's house and headed for his room.

The scent of human blood hit his nostril but he shrugged and push open the door to enter. This time his father isn't reading but the book was besides him.

" My son " he said when Hayden step in. The latter cocked up an eyebrow in surprise. Wondering why he just address him as his son.

Pride dark was known to be a strict father, although he has a reputation of being a great leader when he was leading the Beasts family but he has always been strict on Hayden, his only  son. His strict nurturing has made Hayden a dominant man who couldn't fall easily in love with anyone.

" Yes father, i just got back from the cave. The three Beasts are escorted safely inside it "

" Oh really? That is very good of you " he complimented to the surprise of Hayden.

Why is he like this? He never compliment me on anything. Even when i become the leader he never congratulate me. Hayden said to himself silently. He tried to apply his paranormal sense but as usual it just wouldn't work.

" Hayden" his father called gently " I want you to get married. The wedding is fixed next week "

" What? " Hayden ask suddenly, his eyes glowing slowly. " How do you mean father? " he asked , confused.

Pride dark sighed softly.

" I want you to marry that lady. She is beautiful "

Hayden scoff at the words.

" This isn't right. Why would you speed up the date? I'm having a hard time already with everything that is going on with the Beasts and then you propose a marriage? Really? " He asked almost yelling but pride dark who has made up his mind glare at him.

" If you refuse to marry her i will leave for the cave " he dropped the bomb looking away from Hayden's face which was laced with great shock.

" The cave? Father what is so special about Isabella? Why do you want to us to get married for goodness sake ? " He asked searching his father's face.

He was frustrated, he hated the facts that he could not apply his sixth sense on his father.

He pace about with a clenched jaw before stopping as he arrived on a decision.

" I will get married to her. Anytime and anywhere " he said walking out and slamming the door behind him.

He walk through the hall and out to his car with a glowing eyes and a clenched jaw.

He sat down gently at the backseat while kyle start driving. Kyle has Missed Hayden so much and would love to have a conversation with him but he knows better than to call on his attention whenever his eyes glows like that.

" Stop at the club " he murmured to Kyle who nodded.

He need a woman in his arms, he realized it has been a long time he went to bed with one.

He alighted as he arrived at the club and went straight to the usual room where he saw Cecil making out with a man.

" What the hell! Really? " He exclaimed from the doorway. Cecil was very scared when she saw Hayden. She hasn't expected him to be back from his trip to the cave.

Hayden turn , walking back to his car and head for his home.

He doesn't feel betrayed or sad about the Encounter.

He stop immediately he alighted from his car to stare at Isabella who lean against her car waiting for him.

He walk to her wondering why she had come.

Hayden stop when he noticed her shifting uncomfortably on her feet.

" If you are too nervous to see me you shouldn't have come. " He said walking into his domain.

He was clearly not in the mood to have any conversation with anyone. He was feeling tired and miserable for an unknown reason that all he crave for was to be alone in his bed.

He heard Isabella followed him behind into the large beautiful living room.

He face her when he felt her penetrating eyes on him.

" I need to speak with you about the wedding " She began. Hayden waited for her to speak.  " I heard from my father that the marriage will take place next week. Are you okay with it ? "

" No, I'm not but there is nothing i could do about it " he was quick to reply. He stare at Isabella and picked up a disappointment atmosphere around her.

" Oh yeah, me too. I ... Don't wish to marry ... " She began to say but Hayden interrupted.

" You don't need to lie... I can feel your desire " he said easily. " Humans do that everything. They find excuses even though they know the truth. To make themselves feel better they would make excuses and i hate it. I do not like humans nor do i plan to like one, i have agreed to get married to you in a week time but it will only be what it should be. A contractratual marriage where both of us wont have the right to tell the other what to do " he finished , giving her one last glance he walk into the corner to his room leaving Isabella in surprise and disappointment.
