Samantha's POV

Jane, Anna, and I were at the mall right now, buying materials for our project.

“We've been here for an hour. I’m tired,” Anna complained. She sat down, massaging her heel. Jane went inside a store while I looked around for something to eat.

“I’ll just go this way,” I told Anna, and she nodded. I started walking when I suddenly felt the need to pee. I went to look for a restroom.

After I was done, I came out and walked around the mall. I decided to go upstairs. Most of the stores here are restaurants, but there are some stores selling other things as well.

I went inside a store and actually found the board we were looking for. I paid for it with my own money. I was about to head downstairs when something caught my eye.

“That back looks familiar,” I said to myself. I tried to get a clearer look, and I was right—it was Diego. What is he doing here? I started walking toward the restaurant but stopped when I saw a familiar face.
