Gwyneth thought that John would propose interesting conditions, or at least he would know how to persuade her to marry him, since he was the one who wanted to marry her, not the other way around. But it seemed that Gwyneth had overestimated this arrogant man. John not only lacked the maturity expected of a man but also believed that he was very valuable, assuming that everyone wanted to marry him.

This left Gwyneth speechless and disheartened, with a hint of disdain in her smile towards this man.

"You're a woman, and being able to marry a wealthy man like me is a rare opportunity in your life. Do you know how many women out there want to marry me? Compared to those women, you're much luckier because I chose you over other young beautiful girls," John spoke arrogantly.

Gwyneth tried to suppress a laugh because she knew the women John referred to were likely bar staff. Although she had no opinion about their profession, in their eyes, John was indeed a wealthy man who coul
