Rae’s Pov It’s been a few hours and Toby hasn’t woken up. The doctor tells me that he will be fine. I don’t want to leave his side but I don’t have a choice. I spent too much energy. Toby’s POV Pain is not something new to me. I’ve felt it before during training. It has never felt anything like I feel right now. My mind, body, and soul are in agony. The only relief I feel is when the doctor puts me to sleep. I can’t take it. I’m not the only one. Chris is going crazy. They’ve had to put him to sleep. Chris’s POV “So, what’s going on here?” Toby asks. I have the same thoughts. I was talking with my father in dreamland when he suddenly shows up. How is this possible and what is going on? **Trigger warning. Proceed with caution. Rae’s POV I’m huddling in a corner, terrified out of my mind. I can hear him coming. Hades. I don’t know how long I have been here. It feels like forever. I know what he wants. He wants an heir. I can’t feel my wolf nor can I reach out to my mates. My heart is shattered. Since he has brought me here, I have cleaned until my fingers bleed. He makes sure that I take a shower or a bath every day. He tells me that I will give him an heir. After all, I am now his little slave. His gorgeous slave, he says. Shortly after waking from the dream Toby’s POV I run as fast as I can to get to Chris. We need to go after her. Apparently, we have to do it together. So, while I feel like hurting him for what he has done, I need to work with him. Cian bursts out of me so we can get to him faster. Chris’s POV Waiting for Karina felt like forever. I was in a rush to get to my mate. I can feel things that I never felt before. I can feel pain in certain parts of my body even when I’m not the one that is hurting. They are faint but still enough to annoy me. If it’s Rae, then I am terrified of what is happening. Toby’s POV Sleep eluded me, as much as I pestered Chris about it, because I could not keep my mind off of Rae. I feel it. I feel every time he touches her. Thankfully, not as strong.
