Chapter 67

Natasha’s POV

It’s been days since my plan went through and the pauper got kicked out of the house, but why hasn’t anything changed? I am still starved of Raymond’s attention and the maids have suddenly lost enthusiasm for their jobs. They go about taking my orders like robots, with no ounce of emotion when I call them derogatory names nor any fear when I threaten to fire them.

To make matters worse, Raymond always comes home late. He is either too stressed to keep me company or too busy with some work he brought from the office.

“I wonder when he will be returning today” I said to myself and took a quick glance at the pink gold Cartier watch around my wrist.

I got on my feet when I heard the sound of the door passcode being punched in. He was back. Before I made it to the door, Alex pulled in with a drunken Raymond.

“Hi” Alex said and proceeded with Raymond upstairs.

“Hi” I managed to mutter as I stared at the unbelievable sight before me.
