Tawny quickly jumped off me and my face flushed. Her mom was still standing by the door looking at her daughter with a look I couldn't read.

Tee smiled, "mom... you're back so soon..."

Her mother scoffed before walking in with a few shopping bags in her hands, "clearly... So according to you, When was I supposed to come back in my house? Later?"

Tee didn't respond. I smiled shyly, "hi Mrs... I mean... Maa.."

She turned to me, "I am so disappointed in you, how can you allow Tawny to do this to you?"
