I stood before him, trembling on my feet, my voice quivering as I mustered the courage to speak.

"I-I... I have an allergy to olives. I just cooked all of these for your dinner," I managed to say, but I could still feel the weight of nervousness in his piercing gaze.

In that moment, I felt small and vulnerable, like a child afraid of making a mistake in front of a stern parent. Despite my longing to express myself freely, fear held my words captive. I felt more isolated than a deaf person, unable to utter even the simplest sound.

But he responded with a torrent of anger, as if I were not standing before him. His words crashed upon me like waves, lashing out at my existence. "I don't fvckin' care if you have allergies or what! All I want is for you to finish everything on that table! I already told you that I hate wasting money and cooking too much food
