Jules had left some time ago, and I found myself back at work in the comfort of my home office. It was where I felt most at ease, being able to tackle my tasks within the familiar walls of my own house. Besides, there was really no other suitable place for me to set up my work in the Philippines, apart from this very residence.

Earlier, I had extended an invitation to Jules, hoping she would join me and Samara for dinner. However, she kindly declined, explaining that she already had plans for a dinner date with Milo.
