There are times when I like saying goodbye and there are times when I don't like saying goodbye. Saying goodbye to the kids is always a bittersweet moment because I'm letting them go to where I know that they are safe but I know that I'm not going to see them for at least a little while before I get to see them again. It is true what they say that the days are long but the years are few. You only have so much time with them before they are all grown up and grow wings of their own and you help them fly. When we come back home with broken wings you can help them fix their wings and have them fly again. Pio and Pia wanted to stay a little longer , they wanted to sleep over but I had to explain to them that they had to go back with their grandmother and I promised to talk to them tomorrow morning after saying good night to them . Ava was staying with me. She didn't want to let me go when I wanted to give her to her grandmother to give her a hug.
