The only way you can realize that something is wrong is to detach yourself from whatever is causing you any hurt or pain. I didn't realize what sort of relationship I was in until I removed myself or better yet my own husband decided that it was ok to get physical with me and then me and hospital which of course I didn't end up in hospital I ended up in some secluded place that my brother doesn't want to let me know where it is and he has denied my husband any access to me any way shape or form.
