“It is all right. I will inform him,” the Prince responded, and got up. He walked to his parents, who were through with their meal, and were just relaxing and waiting for Sir Gilmore and his guests to leave.

“My father, Sir Gilmore, has a message for you.”

“That's good. Let him come,” the King said, and adjusted.

“All right, my father,” the Prince said, and left. He returned with the four and made them to sit comfortably.

“Welcome once again, my in-laws,” the King and Queen greeted cheerfully. Now, Sir Gilmore and his wife were comfortable with the title, and he corrected, “Thank you, my King. We had mixed things up. I believe that you mistook Alfred for my relation.”

“Certainly. I thought he was your nephew, and under your care.”

“Not at all. He is my son's friend, and he is a very nice chap. Many people assume the same.”

“That is interesting. All the same, you and your wife are my in-laws.”
