Cillian clenched his fists in anger and pointed at Alina. "Even after knowing you were an outsider, our family never mistreated you. You chose to marry that man!

"We warned you about him before the engagement. But you said you couldn't accept marrying below your station, that you couldn't end up with someone beneath Sven!"
