Everyone looked dumbfounded as to why the police had shown up at my funeral.

Only Alina seemed alarmed.

"Who is Alina Leclair?" the officer asked sternly.

"Officer, what's going on?" Mom asked anxiously the moment she heard Alina's name.

Mom had raised Alina and always treated her better than me, her real daughter.

"After thorough investigation, it has been confirmed that Alina Leclair was the one who orchestrated Tracy Leclair's kidnapping. We need to take her in."

Mom collapsed onto the floor upon hearing the news.

Meanwhile, Sven stared blankly at the officers and shook his head repeatedly. "No, no, that's impossible. How could it be Alina? I handed over the ransom myself. I saved her myself…"

His voice trailed off, replaced by a look of overwhelming regret and pain. At that moment, he seemed to realize something and glared at Alina vehemently.

As the police moved to arrest Alina, Mom struggled to her feet and tried to block them.

The officers didn't mince words.
