Tyrone remained still, his weight pressing heavily on Heather.

Seeing that he had no intention of moving, Heather felt increasingly suffocated. She raised her hand and pushed weakly against his shoulder. "Tyrone, let go of me."

His gaze bore into hers. The initial surprise in his eyes gradually turned to coldness, his lips pressing into a tight line. An invisible chill seemed to settle around him, as though a storm were brewing in the tense silence.

Heather sensed the shift in Tyrone's demeanor. Confused by his dark and menacing expression, she blinked and asked, "What's wrong?"

Tyrone silently scoffed. What's wrong? What right did she have to question him?

His eyes narrowed, and a surge of anger flared within him. He raised his fist and brought it down with a fierce slam, intimidating Heather so much that she buried her face in her hands.

To her surprise, his fist slammed on the bed beside her face, landing with a deep thud.
