Don't call me yours, Mister

"I, Samantha William take..." Maybe it was the way her now husband looked at her with hate, maybe it was the way he felt his father's glare on her back, or maybe it was the fact that there were so many people watching her say her vows.

She looks towards her stepmother for help. There, she sees a flash of anger in her eyes, as she hates her even more for stealing her daughter lover.

A slight cough from the pastor gets Samantha attention. She blinks and force her eyes from her stepmother and back to the front.

"—Alexander Heiden as my to be my wedded husband to have and to hold from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and health, until death do us part."

"You may kiss." Samantha blinked at the pastor.

Kiss?

Samantha hadn't thought of needing to kiss him.

There was a look of annoyance on Alexander's face before he smoothed it back to his usual impassivity.

The taller man turned toward her and leaned down so he could give her the kiss everyone was waiting for.  

Samantha watches, as if it was in slow motion, as Alexander gets closer and closer until she feels the man's breath on her cheek.

"Smile." Alexander hisses into her ear. "Or else people's think I disgust you."

The kiss was over in a blink, chaste and quick.

It wasn't necessary for either of them to keep the kiss going, especially since neither really wanted it.

Alexander pulls away first and Samantha hates that feeling of absence, especially when she loves the man standing in front of her.

Samantha couldn't help but to look over at the man face as they walked down the aisle, arms linked for their very first time.

After years and years of practice, it was easy enough to keep her emotions where they belong, in her heart and only there.

She heard cry sound, and she know it's her, Jazz. Her stepsister, who takes everything from Samanath. But now, they are here, and Samantha is standing with Alexander who is never her on very first place. He is Jazz lover, and they are the one about to get marry.

But things change after that particular night.

(Flashback)

"You like it?" Asked Alexander. Sprawling himself on the bed.

"What do you want?" Samantha asked, she just woke up and found herself to her sister fiancé bed. Naked.

"I can't do that Jazz. You're all I want; I love you so much." Alexander said and Samantha can tell that he is drunk

"Alexander this is Samantha not Jazz."

But suddenly Alexander lips to Samantha's neck. Samantha tried to fight him off, push him, kick him, but Alexander was stronger. Samantha heart was beating faster she felt it would leap out of her chest. Her eyes sting with unshed tears, but even as she kept begging for Alexander to let her go, the latter wouldn't budge.

"Please." She sobbed. Alexander start biting her. "Please Alexander stop."

"I love you so much Jazz, only you." There he goes again; she is Samantha not Jazz.

 "I'll make you feel so good."

Samantha begged and begged but this only encouraged Alexander further. Samatha had no clothes on now, and neither did Alexander. She let out a cry of pain. It hurt, and Alexander only kept thrusting in and out of her without giving Samantha at least a chance to get used to the size of her. She screamed and yelled for help, for her to stop. But no one came to help.

"Stop! Please Alexander stop!!" She sobbed, tears flowing freely from her eyes like waterfalls. Alexander didn't stop, in fact he went faster and harder.

"I'm sorry baby, I'm sorry I love you. Shh, I love you." Samatha felt tired, Alexander then pulled out, slumping next to Samantha and pulling her into an embrace before falling asleep. Samantha cried all night in silence. She knows from tomorrow her life become hell.

(Flashback Over)

Alexander had disagreed to this marriage, maybe the word disagreed was a too peaceful to describe his sentiments about his arranged marriage, he loves Jazz. The one who save him when they are kid. 

But he needs to get marry to her stepsister, Samantha. Alexander knows very well later is the one who drug him, Alexander knows very well it's all her plan.

(Flashback:)

"Alexander sweetie how was your da–" His mother starts but gets cut off by his father

"Alexander, you need to get marry Samantha, your engagement with Jazz is already broken and everyone knows what happen thar night, you need to take responsivity." His father says, loud and clear.

Alexander fisted his hand on the fork he was holding, he hates the girl more than anything, but he knows he don't have power to say no.

Alexander nods at his dad "As you wish"

His mother was petrified listening to this. She looks at them in disbelief, what is she expecting from her obedient son after all he has his father genes to not care about other people feelings.

"But dear–" she tries again.

"End of discussion. He is a man, and he needs to take responsibility for his action."

(Flashback Over)

The ride is silent, but Samantha''s heartbeats are loud, she waits for Alexander to initiate the conversation, she is too shy to do it first, but to his dismay Alexander's sole focus is on his tablet typing something aggressively.

They reach and Alexander doesn't wait for Samantha to walk together inside as he goes straight inside without looking back. Samantha frowns when she gets out of the car searching for her husband who is nowhere in her sight.

She flinches when her mother-in-law suddenly comes out of nowhere.

"Samatha, you looked so beautiful today my dear"

"Thank you, Mrs. Heiden" Samantha says with a little blush, on her cheek. This was her first conversation with her, she wants to give her best.

"It's too formal, call me 'Mom' "

"Okay Mom"

Mrs. Heiden feels so happy that her daughter-in-law has such a beautiful smile and has a sweet aura. But she knows, in no time she will die to see this smile on her again. She grabs her hands smiling and says,

"Please be strong dear, and don't hesitate to give me a call if he troubles you a lot, okay? I'm like your mom now"

"I will" Samantha assures, she feels so happy. At least someone accept her.

"Let's get inside, shall we?"

Samantha nods as they both start walking towards the big shiny house, she can see the mansion is very classy and elegant. Not too dark, not too bright.

Alexander enters his bedroom after a long talk with his father. He feels so tired with today's activity. Too many interactions in one day. He looks around the room searching for his useless wife.

Jazz already blocked him from everywhere and Alexander also heard about leaving the county after the ceremony. He remembers their last goodbye and the thing Jazz told him about his wife.

'She always takes everything away from me, but I never complain but this time, I can't take it anymore.'

Alexander knows his love life gone through hell because of her stepsister. Alexander swears to God that he will never accept Samantha and once he got power, he will kick her out from his life. Even Jazz never accepts him in future he will show her that it's only her whom he loves.

Alexander looks towards the door as his so-called wife enter in his room, she gave him a smile but eric knows better.

"Fuck off" Alexander spats angrily to her which make her fitch back.

'Better know your place,'

Alexander removes one cigarette from the pack and lights it. Taking long puffs.

"As mom and dad leave settled yourself to other room. Even we are married legally I am not your husband, and you are not my wife. Remember your place or I will make you."

Samantha tries hard not to cry as her husband leave the room, she had dream about marrying and having his own little family... but her dream crashes down on the very day of her wedding night by her one and only husband.

But she already knows this will happen, Alexander loves Jazz not her and the early stage of their marriage is going to be difficult for her.

She knows very well that Alexander is not going to make any effort for their marriage to work, but then again, she is already fallen for him a very first time she meets him.

When she is just 12 and get injured and even can't see her mom last time because she is protecting a boy from bad man's. A same boy she got married, a same boy who hate her more than anything. 

So, Samantha is not going to give up easily, she will make more efforts to make their marriage work.

She will make this marriage work.
