It's been one months they're married, and Samantha is doing everything to make her husband accept their relationship.

She has been doing all typical housewife works for her husband. She knew much about household work as she taking care of herself very young age, her stepmother never cares much about her.

She changed her so many habits, waking up early for her husband, so she can make breakfast for him.

She would serve her husband food, cooking, folding the clothes, do laundries and other serval needs. Apart from this, she would support her husband in every matter and shows affection towards older, Alexander would always ignore her. But despite that, Samantha didn't give up on her stubborn and ignorant husband.

Currently she is making dinner. She is so occupied in making her husband favorite dishes that's she didn't heard front door being opened by her exhausted and an angry husband.

Alexander is gritting his teeth, as he lost one of his business deals. He had worked hard for this deal from last three months, scarifying his day and night but what happened today? He fucking lost the deal because the others two company decided to merge their business together.

With an angry scowl he sits down on the sofa, breathing angrily and waiting for Samantha to serve the glass of water like she always does...

"Where the fuck is she?"

Getting up from sofa, he angrily walks towards the kitchen, where he found Samantha is busy in cooking.

"You. you can't even take care of me, but you still dare to steal me from your sister? I work whole day to fulfill your lavish lifestyle, but you can't even handle a glass of water? why you marry me? just to live and eat here in free. Fuck off, I never understand how I become so unlucky to marry you."

Alexander burst out his all-office anger on Samantha, while she bite her lower lips to stop herself from crying.

"i–"

She tries to speak but words sucked on her throat after looking at her husband an angry and scary face.

"Are you not going to say anything? Cat got your tongue. I got married such an immature person. You know marrying you is one of my biggest regrets."

Alexander scream in an anger before walking out of the kitchen, while leaving a very shocked Samantha behind, whose tear started flowing from her eyes.

She knows Alexander doesn't like her and their marriage...

Samantha started questioning herself, why her life is always so difficult? Why can't her husband love her? is she's ugly? Fat? Or she's burden on her husband?

"Of course, I must be burden on her." She thought, hiding her face behind the palms and crying harder.

Samantha is scared, she never be scared of her life, but she is. She is back, Jazz is back, and Samatha knows she already contact to Alexander. Samantha is trying hard to save this marriage or to make it work but as her stepsister return, she is not sure what will happen.

Pushing all the negative thoughts away, she enjoyed the rest of the day with her mother-in-law, she is now in the kitchen helping her with dinner. They both had spent the whole day together bonding.

When Alexander is back from office, her mother-in-law nudges her to go and check on him. She hesitates but nothing less follows him to their bedroom. Alexander gives her a cold stare removing the watch from his wrist.

Samantha takes a deep breath before slowly walking up to him. Her hands go around her neck as she tries to untie his tie for him. She watched Alexander getting ready many times and she noticed he struggled with his tie. She wants to do that for him

Alexander was taken back to her action. He didn't expect her to be this calm, Samatha was also in his personal space, too close. His breath shudders when Samantha looks at him with a genuine smile and asks.

"How was your day?"

Alexander heartbeat speeds up unknowingly. Rather than his mom no one in his life asked him this question. He pushes Samantha away from him and goes straight into their bathroom. Hiding from an unsettling thing he just felt around him. Feelings are absurd, he reminds him.

Today Samantha has good time with Emily, her only friend. It's nearly two months since she marry to Alexander and it's first time she goes outside for enjoyment. They spend all day talking and eating, Samantha ignores all question regarding her married life.

After a fun day as she entered the house, she knew something was wrong. The house was dark and cold. Well, it usually be close but today it much colder.

Today, the room was freezing cold and so dark that it was hard to see. Samantha had to give her eyes a second to adjust to the dark house.

He tossed her purse on the floor by the side of the white L-shaped sofa, noticing that Alexander's shoes weren't near the kitchen door entrance. She walked into the kitchen, and try hard not to make noise, 'Did something happen to Alexander?'

Where was he? Something was incredibly wrong, Samantha could almost see it in the air.

Samantha walked out of the kitchen to explore around the house more to find her husband. She felt her heart to pound rapidly in her chest. Something was wrong. What if something happened to Alexander?

Samantha checked the bathroom, the guest room, before heading towards Alexander bedroom. She threw the door of their bedroom open. She froze when she saw him sitting on the bed and drinking.

"Alexander. What's wrong?" Samantha uttered softly in concern.

Alexander looked up at her, his hard brown eyes shiny with happiness. They were filled with so much determination. Samantha felt her heartache at the look Alexander was giving her.

The silence stretched on for a minute. Just when Samantha was going to speak again, Alexander finally spoke up.

"My dad offer me a CEO position, so I think it's time for me to make decision from my own life." was all he said in a stern voice.

"Oh... I understand, congratulation. You are working hard to gain this position." Samantha said in a small voice as she knows what about to come.

She had to fix this. Samantha loved Alexander with all her heart and soul. She had to work hard for their relationship.

"I was drunk that night. I didn't know what I was doing and ended up with you and it was just once, and it will never happen again. But because of that I need to marry you and leave someone whom I love dearly." Alexander spoke in cold tone but his words coming out jumbled together.

Samantha could feel tears threatening to overflow when she saw her husband.

"I didn't do anything; I know you don't believe me but, on that day, I try hard to stop you."

"No Samatha. How am I supposed to believe anything you say? When you weren't going to even tell me. You were going to continue to lie to my face like as if nothing happened. You break my engagement with your stepsister just because you hate Jazz and want everything she love." Alexander growled out, both sadness and anger fueling him.

Samantha flinched back, only if he knows, only if Alexander knows the actual truth. How Jazz take away everything from her, including her father and now her first love.

"So, it's about her, isn't? You want me to leave so you can take her here?" Samantha asked as tears started to stream down her face. She sees how Alexander gets up and about to leave the room.

Samantha felt so helpless. This was all her fault if only she tries harder. This would've never happened. The love of her life wouldn't be leaving her.

Alexander stopped at the front of the door and turned to face Samantha. His face was the embodiment of coldness.

"I wish I could forgive you, so bad. Because you are Jazz sister, and she really wants best for you. But all I can see when I look at your face are lies. You take away the most important person of my life, I am trying hard the little girl who save me when I was a kid and when I finally found her and even win her heart you come between us. I can't make it go away. I just need to be away from you."

Alexander pulled the thin gold wedding band off of his small index finger before putting it on the small table near the entrance of the house.

Then he turned around and finally opened the door.

"I love you, Alexander." Samantha said in a broke voice, the raw pain and sincerity in her voice evident.

Alexander froze. But he didn't say anything and just and he walked away.

"And I am the one who save you that day, I am the one who lost my everything after that day."

Samanath wants to scream and tell the truth, but she knows Alexander is not going to believe her and maybe hate her even more.
