It's been one months they're married, and Samantha is doing everything to make her husband accept their relationship.
She has been doing all typical housewife works for her husband. She knew much about household work as she taking care of herself very young age, her stepmother never cares much about her.
She changed her so many habits, waking up early for her husband, so she can make breakfast for him.
She would serve her husband food, cooking, folding the clothes, do laundries and other serval needs. Apart from this, she would support her husband in every matter and shows affection towards older, Alexander would always ignore her. But despite that, Samantha didn't give up on her stubborn and ignorant husband.
Currently she is making dinner. She is so occupied in making her husband favorite dishes that's she didn't heard front door being opened by her exhausted and an angry husband.
Alexander is gritting his teeth, as he lost one of his business deals. He had worked hard for this deal from last three months, scarifying his day and night but what happened today? He fucking lost the deal because the others two company decided to merge their business together.
With an angry scowl he sits down on the sofa, breathing angrily and waiting for Samantha to serve the glass of water like she always does...
"Where the fuck is she?"
Getting up from sofa, he angrily walks towards the kitchen, where he found Samantha is busy in cooking.
"You. you can't even take care of me, but you still dare to steal me from your sister? I work whole day to fulfill your lavish lifestyle, but you can't even handle a glass of water? why you marry me? just to live and eat here in free. Fuck off, I never understand how I become so unlucky to marry you."
Alexander burst out his all-office anger on Samantha, while she bite her lower lips to stop herself from crying.
"i–"
She tries to speak but words sucked on her throat after looking at her husband an angry and scary face.
"Are you not going to say anything? Cat got your tongue. I got married such an immature person. You know marrying you is one of my biggest regrets."
Alexander scream in an anger before walking out of the kitchen, while leaving a very shocked Samantha behind, whose tear started flowing from her eyes.
She knows Alexander doesn't like her and their marriage...
Samantha started questioning herself, why her life is always so difficult? Why can't her husband love her? is she's ugly? Fat? Or she's burden on her husband?
"Of course, I must be burden on her." She thought, hiding her face behind the palms and crying harder.
Samantha is scared, she never be scared of her life, but she is. She is back, Jazz is back, and Samatha knows she already contact to Alexander. Samantha is trying hard to save this marriage or to make it work but as her stepsister return, she is not sure what will happen.
Pushing all the negative thoughts away, she enjoyed the rest of the day with her mother-in-law, she is now in the kitchen helping her with dinner. They both had spent the whole day together bonding.
When Alexander is back from office, her mother-in-law nudges her to go and check on him. She hesitates but nothing less follows him to their bedroom. Alexander gives her a cold stare removing the watch from his wrist.
Samantha takes a deep breath before slowly walking up to him. Her hands go around her neck as she tries to untie his tie for him. She watched Alexander getting ready many times and she noticed he struggled with his tie. She wants to do that for him
Alexander was taken back to her action. He didn't expect her to be this calm, Samatha was also in his personal space, too close. His breath shudders when Samantha looks at him with a genuine smile and asks.
"How was your day?"
Alexander heartbeat speeds up unknowingly. Rather than his mom no one in his life asked him this question. He pushes Samantha away from him and goes straight into their bathroom. Hiding from an unsettling thing he just felt around him. Feelings are absurd, he reminds him.
Today Samantha has good time with Emily, her only friend. It's nearly two months since she marry to Alexander and it's first time she goes outside for enjoyment. They spend all day talking and eating, Samantha ignores all question regarding her married life.
After a fun day as she entered the house, she knew something was wrong. The house was dark and cold. Well, it usually be close but today it much colder.
Today, the room was freezing cold and so dark that it was hard to see. Samantha had to give her eyes a second to adjust to the dark house.
He tossed her purse on the floor by the side of the white L-shaped sofa, noticing that Alexander's shoes weren't near the kitchen door entrance. She walked into the kitchen, and try hard not to make noise, 'Did something happen to Alexander?'
Where was he? Something was incredibly wrong, Samantha could almost see it in the air.
Samantha walked out of the kitchen to explore around the house more to find her husband. She felt her heart to pound rapidly in her chest. Something was wrong. What if something happened to Alexander?
Samantha checked the bathroom, the guest room, before heading towards Alexander bedroom. She threw the door of their bedroom open. She froze when she saw him sitting on the bed and drinking.
"Alexander. What's wrong?" Samantha uttered softly in concern.
Alexander looked up at her, his hard brown eyes shiny with happiness. They were filled with so much determination. Samantha felt her heartache at the look Alexander was giving her.
The silence stretched on for a minute. Just when Samantha was going to speak again, Alexander finally spoke up.
"My dad offer me a CEO position, so I think it's time for me to make decision from my own life." was all he said in a stern voice.
"Oh... I understand, congratulation. You are working hard to gain this position." Samantha said in a small voice as she knows what about to come.
She had to fix this. Samantha loved Alexander with all her heart and soul. She had to work hard for their relationship.
"I was drunk that night. I didn't know what I was doing and ended up with you and it was just once, and it will never happen again. But because of that I need to marry you and leave someone whom I love dearly." Alexander spoke in cold tone but his words coming out jumbled together.
Samantha could feel tears threatening to overflow when she saw her husband.
"I didn't do anything; I know you don't believe me but, on that day, I try hard to stop you."
"No Samatha. How am I supposed to believe anything you say? When you weren't going to even tell me. You were going to continue to lie to my face like as if nothing happened. You break my engagement with your stepsister just because you hate Jazz and want everything she love." Alexander growled out, both sadness and anger fueling him.
Samantha flinched back, only if he knows, only if Alexander knows the actual truth. How Jazz take away everything from her, including her father and now her first love.
"So, it's about her, isn't? You want me to leave so you can take her here?" Samantha asked as tears started to stream down her face. She sees how Alexander gets up and about to leave the room.
Samantha felt so helpless. This was all her fault if only she tries harder. This would've never happened. The love of her life wouldn't be leaving her.
Alexander stopped at the front of the door and turned to face Samantha. His face was the embodiment of coldness.
"I wish I could forgive you, so bad. Because you are Jazz sister, and she really wants best for you. But all I can see when I look at your face are lies. You take away the most important person of my life, I am trying hard the little girl who save me when I was a kid and when I finally found her and even win her heart you come between us. I can't make it go away. I just need to be away from you."
Alexander pulled the thin gold wedding band off of his small index finger before putting it on the small table near the entrance of the house.
Then he turned around and finally opened the door.
"I love you, Alexander." Samantha said in a broke voice, the raw pain and sincerity in her voice evident.
Alexander froze. But he didn't say anything and just and he walked away.
"And I am the one who save you that day, I am the one who lost my everything after that day."
Samanath wants to scream and tell the truth, but she knows Alexander is not going to believe her and maybe hate her even more.
It's been a week since Alexander left the house and didn't come back. Samanath calls his assistant and find out that he is sleeping in his office. She tries call Alexander maybe five time in a day but eventually, she stopped. Samantha gasped and let out a ragged sob. Her throat hurt and her knees ached from kneeling on the hard marble of the bathroom. What was happening to him? This was the fourth time she has thrown up this week. Not only that, but she has also woken up almost every night in cold sweats and extremely disorientated.Samantha's stomach twisted sharply once again, and he began to wretch into the porcelain toilet. Small sobs and gasps falling in between each twist of her stomach. She slowly got up from her knees after her stomach settled. It didn't take long for her to reach her bedside table where her phone was charging. She grabbed it as she sat down on the bed. It was silent as the phone rang quietly, there was a click as the call went through."Hello, Samanath?" Sam
At three in the morning, Samantha sits alone at a table. The lights above her head had been dimmed, the rest of the house remains dark. Beside her, a long way away, the TV plays an old show, flashing black and white graphics with the volume low, almost unheard. She picks at her shirt sleeves in her lap, staring straight ahead at the untouched dinner plate on the other end of the table. She had set it all up quite a few hours ago, the time being closer to six. It was a recipe Emily's mother had given her a few months ago, excitement rushing through him at the chance to share her recipes, and Samantha had been excited to try it out, too. She doesn't understand why she make this dish; isn't she should cry after knowing her husband plans? Her husband already hands her a divorce paper and he even purpose her sister before Samantha can sign. But now she is pregnant?Picking up her phone, Samantha sent a quick text to Emily, getting an almost immediate response. Emily was always happy to he
One Week Later: -Alexander shoots up in bed, gasping for breath, Samanatha's name falling off his tongue. His chest heaves with pained breath, forehead sticky with sweat, and his sheets have been kicked down to his ankles. Lazily, Alexander drops himself back onto his pillows, flopping his arm out beside him to check try to check something. It's only when his hands hit nothing but mattress that he remembers. Oh. He's alone in his bed and it feels strikingly cold. Like he had left his window open in the middle of a snowstorm. He shivers. One look at his alarm clock tells him that it's 3:15 a.m. and he should be sleeping, but all traces of tiredness have been stripped away from him. Nightmares had never sat well with him, had always made him too nervous to go back to sleep no matter how much his mother assured him that monsters weren't real, and it feels almost impossible now that reality settles in.How do you sleep away the monster when you are the monster?Alexander forces himself o
"THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU??" As Alexander opens the door his one and only friend Damon start yelling at him with anger. Damon knows everything from news, and he don't know how Alexander can be so stupid by announcing this. Damon thought he finally have someone he loves dearly and will do anything for him, but he is wrong. After what Samantha's been through, she did not deserve this. Damon's mother is best friend of Samantha's stepmother, and she told him how bad badly they treat Samatha.Alexander wasn't saying anything, he was just sitting in front of me with his head held low, eyes glued to the floor."YOU KNOW JACE, THE YOUNGEST IS HERE AND HE WAS READY TO COME HERE AND KILL YOU BUT SOMEHOW I MANAGE TO COOL HIM DOWN...... WHAT ARE YOU SO SCARED OF ALEXANDER, HUH? WHY DID YOU DOING THIS?"Alexander didn't say anything again."ANSWER ME DAMMIT!!?" Damon slams the table hard which make Alexander flinch."I..I don't love her." Alexander whispered."Oh really? And you love that Jazz"
One week later: -Damon POV: -It was meeting time, I was sitting with Jace and discussing few things. That day after I left Alexander place I go and visit Jace and told him how I feel. But Jace told me he needs time. As for now Samnatha and her unborn baby is more important. I told Jace to join my company as easy for him to work and take care of his sister. My parents are happy with my decision, after Alexander start taking Jazz in our meeting while saying its's because he wants her to know how things work. I swear to God, I really want to break all the professional relationship between our company but unlike Alexander I think about my parents. Now, talking about Alexander, if he thinks that I won't be able to come out in front of everyone then he so wrong. I don't give a shit what anyone says or think about me, all that matters to me is my own happiness. After the meeting over I stood up and look towards everyone."EXCUSE ME EVERYONE, I HAVE AN ANNOUNCEMENT TO MAKE!"Everyone's atten
One Month Later: -Samantha's POV: -I knew it!! I knew it was too good to be true. All the good things that were happening with for past month were too good to be true. I was having hard time believing everything that was happening with me. Me getting out of the hell hole, Alexander's parents accepting me and after leave Emily letting me live with her, biggest one was I am having a baby and I though the baby will be my life saver.I was so happy that I cannot describe it in words, even Alexander leaves me I am still happy because at least I got his part. Taking about Alexander, I trusted him with all my heart and soul. I was sure that he is the one who will never ever hurt me, no matter what. At least he tries to give our marriage a chance. But I guess the person whom you trust the most, are the one who end up breaking it.I was so devastated after I heard that Alexander was declaring his relationship with Jazz, even I decide to divorce him and even sign that paper, Damon told me Alex
One Yar Later: -"Hello Mr. Heidem, how are you feeling today?" Alexander opens his mouth to speak, wants to speak but it is as if he is forbidden to, when nothing comes out. His head is still flooded with images of Samanatha with another man just like it has been for some days now, prompting him to isolate himself and wallow in self-pity.So much so that his brother suggested he go see a psychologist and talk his feelings out."I-I don't know." "Then let's start with something that you might know."Mr. Allen, his apparent psychologist, smiles at him lightly, folding one leg over the other, looking like the image of someone regal. But Alexander's mind is not ready for another set of questions for which he doesn't have answers to.He isn't ready to face things, to face his feelings and believe that he let someone he loved slip from his hands just because he was coward enough to not confess his feelings that he had been harboring for years on end."Dr. Allen, can w-we," Alexander start
Allen sees it clearly. The raw intensity with which Alexander speaks. To anyone hearing him, they'd think that he is some maniac crying over losing someone to another person just because they were scared to put their feelings into words. But to Alexander, who has been prey to the same situation, all he sees is a boy who believed in another boy with all his mind, body and soul only for everything around him to shatter when the only person he saw as his tether to every feeling, slipped out of his grasp just because of his own anxiety and nervousness to share a feeling that the other person might or might not have returned."I've shouted, I've screamed, and I've felt like my world crashing. I've seen my own heart shatter in front of my eyes. People always say that it gets worse before it gets better." Alexander chuckles bitterly and looks Allen in the eyes with a certain betraying fierceness."Then why is it that everything is getting even worse for me instead of getting better?" One loo
Like, honestly, what Samanath should be more focused on is Alexander’s heated mouth wrapped around her neck, sucking territorial marks into her bare skin as she alternates between teeth, tongue, and lips. Because the sensation of the dangerous combo leaves prickles of tingling pleasure down Samanath’s spine to the curl of his toes. And the way Alexander’s body spreads her own, pushing Samanath’s thighs and legs wide to fit his broad frame is something Samantha’s definitely grown to love about the physical part of their relationship. But that’s about as far as they’ve gone..Which was actually related to a part of Samantha’s current problem. Not the statement, that wasn’t an issue for either of them. It was just, kinda well known Alexander wasn’t a stranger to sex. Samantha hadn’t told Alexander yet but earlier, she’d overheard a conversation between a couple girls. They had been boldly discussing Alexander’s and her relationship. She wasn’t purposely trying to listen in on their goss
"I have to say, after hearing Ashly constantly praise on about the mysterious sweet love, I never imagined it would’ve been you.” Alexander said to Mike as he snagged two glasses of champagne from a waiter passing through. “Definitely not what I expected at all but now I can’t see anyone else fitting that role.”Mike accepted the drink offered to him and smiled gently. “Yes, well, she came into my life and plastered herself there. A broke college student waiting buy me a coffee after I paid for her groceries.” the man snickered fondly and waved off the expecting doe eyes. “Another story for her to tell. And thank you, I’m taking that as a compliment. He makes me happy.”Alexander felt oddly warm hearing that and nodded. “That’s good. Really. I know last time we saw each other was a bit jumbled..” Alexander scratched his cheek while the memory of him with his hands all over Samanath as they tried to leave Mike’s office surfaced, “I didn’t get the chance to personally thank you for your
The next to arrive was Mike and Ashly, bickering lightly as they trudged through the door. “Don’t be mad at me, I offered to carry it but you were all like ‘No, I got this’ knowing damn well you didn’t.” Ashly scolded her scowling partner as he toed off his boots carefully, mindful of the stacked items in his arms.“It was the damn rock sheathed in the ice.” Mike grumbled and Sen poked his head around the corner.“Did you really just say ‘sheathed’? So specific.” the younger chortled softly and brushed past his sulking man.“What happened?”“Sweet love broke the cookies out on your sidewalk.” Ashly sighed and allowed Sen to take half her load from her to him. “They’re the ones on top, they’re crumbled now, sorry.”“DAMN IT, MIKE.” Nial bellowed from somewhere deeper in the house.“Fuck off, you can’t talk shit.” Mike moodily tossed back as he followed the voice of his friend.Sen lead Ashly into the kitchen, rolling his eyes. “We’ll live.”Suran beamed when Mile finally came into view
Ken’s voice might’ve as well been muted. Whatever he was telling Samantha on his end of the call, every word and switched tones he made, it all went in one ear and out the other.Samantha can't remember how she even answered her best friend’s call with him being caged down to the bed, face down, ass up, and fucked into the mattress and all. Alexander had rendered her mind a mush and her brain shut down, commuting nothing but white blinding pleasure with every deep stroke her body received. It was all she could do to stay quiet, little breathless barely slipping through her clenched teeth, wanting to spill loudly from every thrust her lover pummeled into her, tip of her heated thick gourd kissing her prostate head on every glide. Stars were her world, her view, her focus. And the way Alexander held her in place with strong arms as he took her from behind had Samanath’s arousal course hotter. They were locked together, Alexander pressing hotly against her with his chest fused against Sam
"Fuck. Samantha.." the younger sighed heavily. "I'm sorry, I ruined everyone's night with my screw up attitude. I'm ordering a uber now but uh, I need the password for you wifi if you don't mind."The woman blinked before shaking her head as she walked over. "Sorry, but you really think I'd give you the password so you can get access to an uber?" Samanatha settled beside the other and rested a comforting hand on her arm. "What do you take me for. Don't feel bad at all for what happened, Liam, you're fine. I just wanted to make sure you're alright and no, you are not leaving my house in an uber. Do you want to talk about it?"The man stared at the ground and chuckled dryly. "I just put my business out there..." Liam sighed, frustration carrying the harsh breath. "I'm fucking irritated. And tired. Maybe it really was a bad idea to come. I know myself better than anyone, I knew they were going to be here and I knew, even though I promised myself I wouldn't say anything to start shit, it w
The regret flashing across Sen's face was clear and the man opened his mouth to apologize but was stripped the chance. Samantha startled when an arm cinched around hir waist, a solid body forming into his with seeping warmth. The scent of heavy rain flooded into her senses and Samantha looked up at Alexander whose dark eyes stared blankly at Sen. "Alex." the woman greeted softly, surprised she didn't hear the man approach them. The arm tightened around her waist."Here you are. I've been looking for you, babe."Samantha melted into Alexander and explained Sen was leaving so he was here to see him off. Obviously, she left out the other parts, what Alexander didn't know wouldn't hurt. Besides, they didn't need any more drama for tonight. Samantha felt spent enough already, but of course nothing ever works in her favor."Oh, well does he need any assistance getting to his car?" the suggestive undertone in Alexander's voice had Samantha smacking his arm lightly. But Sen brushed off the bor
When Samantha surfaced back into the talkative room, she immediately looked around the scene for Alexander, but her mocha eyes found the man was nowhere in sight. However, from her skimming, it was evident that everyone was getting along well together just fine, and it brought a smile out of her momentarily. And then she locked her gaze on Ashly who no longer lounged on the couch but was now sitting comfortably in one of the chairs with a drink in hand. Samantha made her way over, laughing softly when Ashly made wiggly finger motions at her, wanting her closer. The woman squeezed down next to the older who scooted over for her and smiled, allowing her head to plant on a sturdy shoulder."Where'd my man go?" she asked, voice muffled from her mouth pressing against Ashly's cologne scent shirt."Went off with Ken." Oh great, Samantha thought. "They should be back soon, though. How'd it goes with you and red wonder?" Ashly asked and let his fingers card through silky blond locks lazily.Sa
The stillness in the room was stifling. Lin felt like she was burning on the spot solely from the fiery gaze Samantha pinned on her and her words slashed like a deadly weapon. The woman opened the door, eyes locked on her expectantly and she got the message. Slowly, the red headed woman made her way over to the exit and pursed her glossy lips before blowing out a long quiet breath as she stopped and faced him. "I don't really appreciate the way you continue to approach me about this but-"Samantha's scoff cut her off clean. "And you think I appreciate the number of approaches you've made on Alexander? Sorry that I'm not roses and daisies about this situation you dug yourself in." Samantha countered stormily. The pent up anger and frustration she assumed she released out of her system that night she blew up was returning back to her in forceful waves. The audacity she had to be playing the victim card was through the roof- a fucking trip.Seeing the brewing storm raging, Lin quickly bac
The ladies soon returned and joined the men, and Samantha just watched them feeling pleased and happy. It was funny, she knew most of all of them already for long but that was a given since she and Alexander shared a lot of mutual friends. They all went their separate ways and seeing them come back together was a bit heartwarming. And then, above their voices, they all heard the front door slam open before a chorus of loud voices streamed down to them, but the loudest in volume of them all had Min and Win tensing. "You KNOW you're directionally challenged, and you still want to argue with me! Didn't I say turn left??"I thought you meant MY left!""OUR LEFTS ARE THE SAME YUGYEOM. THE. SAME.""You should've told me sooner.""I told you several blocks away, dipshit. You heard Cassandra, too, she told your ass 'in one thousand feet, turn left Avenue' but noooo.""I'm sorry, I'm just at how you named your Siri Cassandra."Alexander was the first to emerge and Samantha had to cover her mout
