Summer’s Point of view

Five years had gone by, Devon and Stefani had, in time, grown up. Steven’s firm had blossomed, yet to remain autonomous of the wealth he worked so hard, I returned from my designer career and became a model for my own designs.

We were fortunate enough to find helpers to look after Stefani and Devon, all of them generous and affable. My initial days on the job were grueling since I had never been far away from my kids nor gone more than a day without seeing Steven. I was clueless that modeling would be so demanding, especially with such a tight timeline already in place.

A whole week had gone by since I heard Steven’s voice. My time had been packed, bouncing between the studio and rehearsals for this upcoming runways show. All of these late nights had kept me from the ones I care about most - my family. Now that I was back in the studio, all I wanted to do was rush home and wrap my arms around them.
