Summer's Point of View

Stefani and Devon didn't give me attention when we arrived home. I wanted to talk to them but they seemed not ready for it yet. In the end, I waited for Steven to arrived home.

I was sitting on the living room, leg crossed, and drinking alcohol when he arrived.

He saw me immediately and was about to kiss me when I pushed him with all might as I glared at him. Looking at him just made my heart ache.

He beholdat me with exhausted eyes as he spoke, "I told you, I can't leave and needs to—"

"I have a job too, you know! You can't just leave our child out of your plans like this!" I rose from my seat with fiery indignation and pointed sharply at his chest. My voice was raised in anger, every muscle tense with frustration. But he didn't budge an inch, a stoic facade hiding deeper emotions. "You always prioritize your own work over everything else! Get your priorities straight and focus on us for once!"
