I was with Devon and Steven while he was singing his song repeatedly, enjoying his time with his ducks in the shower. Devon poured himself into mastering the music for his upcoming recital at school. His enthusiasm was clearly visible through every move he made and facial expression he gave. Even I, watching him from the side, couldn’t help but be enthralled by his spirit. It had only been a few months since he began kindergarten school, yet it seemed like he had already adapted to the whole new environment.

"Mom, Dad, promise me you won't be late. Please, not this time! I need you there to watch me!" Devon urged, his eyes wide with hope for as he splashed in the water. He spoke with a maturity beyond his years.
