CHAPTER 11

I stormed into my room, closing the door behind me with a loud thud. Liam and I didn't talk throughout the drive and he didn't try to engage in any conversation with me. He was as silent as ever.

I took off my heels and undressed before walking naked into the bathroom. The white bulb made the room look even brighter, but strangely, his scent still lingered in the room.

The bathtub was filled with warm water and the steam rose slowly from it. I got into the bathtub, letting my racing nerves relax with the calm water.

After washing myself up inside the bathtub, I wrapped the towel around my body.

“You think I can't get him, huh? Just watch me, Emily. Don't come begging me when he is finally with me," Aysel's words replayed in my mind.

Those were her last words before I left the hall. It might have looked as if she was bluffing, but Aysel is never the type to let her guard down, and she meant every word.
