CHAPTER 10

Liam burst into a fit of laughter the moment I uttered those words. I frowned, not knowing what prompted the reaction.

”If you are going to keep on weighing your options because of that claim of yours about Aysel, I would love to see your proof, Emily." Liam said, straightening his back.

“You can as well answer my question. Just a yes or no would do, Mr. Nolan," I replied before taking my purse from the floor while a part of me waited for the devil's reply.

“Will my answer satisfy you, Emily? I doubted that, but don't take my words lightly. I meant everything I said," Liam said before storming out of the room while my eyes trailed over him until the door was shut.

The moment Liam left, I slumped to the floor while my hand didn't stop shaking. There is one more thing I forgot to remember about Liam.

He is the type to never go back on his words and I mean it. Liam is going to divorce me like I said but that doesn't mean he will let me be like that without trying to get connected to me p
