EMILY'S POV I drove out of Emily's store and the car moved through the tiled road. I look at the necklace on my neck and even at night, the diamond stone dazzles, which leaves me speechless. Why would he even get me a diamond necklace and pretend that it is from a secret admirer? I decided not to think about Vincent's reasons for now. Instead, I drive safely to where the ball party is being held. This is going to be the last time I and Liam will ever attend a ball party together. When I parked the car, the reporters were already at the front of the building taking pictures of all the celebrities who came in to grace the occasion. At least, I am not a celebrity so no one will at least capture this moment. I take one last look at myself in the mirror. The smoky eye makeup Chelsea gave me. I took my purse and got out of the car after locking it. The stunning gown was a masterpiece of silk and lace, hugging my curves in all the right places as I stepped out, breathing in the fresh air.
