Alpha's POV

We were sitting in the enormous living room, waiting for the medical team’s report. I was growing impatient; I had spent the night awake, unable to sleep, with no sign of when that girl would finally wake up. The doctors said she might end up in a wheelchair permanently and had fractured two vertebrae in her lower back.

"Alpha..." the doctor approached me after two hours of waiting. "She has finally woken up!" he said seriously, removing his gloves.

"Great, I’ve been waiting to talk to her," I replied determinedly, walking towards the room where the young girl was resting.

"Alpha... be careful. She just went through a trauma. Don’t push her too hard, as it could worsen her condition," the doctor advised, showing the exam results.

She was in critical condition; we didn’t know if she would survive or have permanent sequelae. The fact that she had woken up after five days in a coma was a significant improvement, although the doctors had already warned me that it’s common for
