"Jaxon…" I mumbled too low for me to hear.
"Why are you here?" Franklin asked in a calm and controlled voice.
"This is a breach. You know that, don't you?" Jaxon replied, his tone lethal and I could almost hear in my mind the grinding sound of his teeth by the way he was clenching his jaw.
"I don't understand how this is a breach. As you can see…" Franklin stepped back a bit to show me. "Eve here is fine with us."
"What is this Jax?" I asked. "Why are you with a bunch of…" I trailed off and looked at the wolves surrounding him.
"I am here to save you, Eve. I guess you don't even know what this family is hiding from you. They are monsters, Eve. They are evil!"
Crislord growled at the same time Ross and Venus did.
"Monsters? Look at yourself, you mongrel. We don't shift like you, and here you are saying that we are the monsters?" Venus said with so much sarcasm.<
