67: Not a Mistake

I walked away from him and went to Jaxon who was raising his brow at me as though I did something illegal.

He opened his jeep for me so I could get in. He followed right away after I did.

"Seriously, Eve? Are you not bothered kissing him like that? He has fangs, you know," Jaxon said what was in his mind the whole time.

"He doesn't have fangs," I said matter-of-factly. Carter said that vampires don't have those mythical fangs. What they only have are very strong and sharp teeth. Though, I don't think I can even think of that while kissing Carter, nor anyone could. I could hardly even think straight. Every time he kisses me, I feel so intoxicated that my mind goes haywire.

"But you know he can rip any human's throat with his teeth."

"Are we just going to talk about that?" I asked as he drove from Edmond's driveway.

"Fine, alright. We will not talk about your bloodsucker boyfriend."
