Chapter 98

Currently some lecturers were holding an important meeting, the meeting was going quite smoothly until suddenly someone's loud shout managed to distract them.

"What's wrong, why does it sound so crowded outside?"

"PLEASE SOMEONE WANTS TO COMMIT SUICIDE!"

Instantly all the lecturers who were in the meeting room ran out of the room. They all ran to the campus field, where almost all the students were gathered.

"What's going on? What's going on?"

"Someone wants to commit suicide by jumping from up there!"

How shocked all the lecturers were when they saw a woman standing on top of the building while stretching her arms, as if getting ready to jump down.

Arka, who also happened to be in the meeting, also witnessed it. The man was surprised to find out that the person currently standing on top of the campus building was Mauren. 

Yup Mauren, the woman he had been looking for for several days but never found.

"Isn't that Mauren? Oh My Gosh Mauren get down!!!"

"Mauren get down!!! Mauren!!!"

While crying, Mauren looked down, where almost all the lecturers and students in his campus were gathered in the field watching him who was planning to commit suicide.

Naya and Juna who had just arrived at the field were equally surprised to find out that the student who was about to commit suicide was Mauren.

"Mauren, please come down. Don't do that, come down Mauren."

"Quickly go upstairs, don't let him jump."

Some lecturers and other students tried to persuade Mauren not to commit his desperate act.

"Hiks what am I living for? My life is ruined! There's no point in me living!" Mauren shouted.

"Mauren, if you have any problems you can tell us."

"Hiks I just want to die. My life is ruined, my life has been destroyed by that man!"

Downstairs, Arka looked frantically at Mauren on top of the building crying and screaming. The man was afraid that the reason why Mauren was desperate to commit suicide was because of the incident when they suddenly found themselves sleeping in the same bed.

"Mauren, tell me who broke you. Who made you want to kill yourself."

Mauren was silent, her eyes staring at someone in the crowd on the field. It wasn't long before her outstretched hand began to point at one of the people below.

"Him! He ruined me! He ruined my life. He took away my purity by raping me!" Mauren shouted while crying, not forgetting the woman's index finger which was now pointing at Arka.

Suddenly everyone immediately turned to Arka, including Juna and Naya.

Feeling that she was currently the center of attention, Arka immediately shook her head. The man said that he was not the one who had destroyed Mauren.

"Mr. Arka? What did you do to Mauren?"

"Mr. Arka raped Mauren?"

"Oh my God Mr. Arka, you're that bad!!!"

"No! No I didn't! I never did it. I didn't know anything!"

Amidst the accusations, Naya was silent. She stared in disbelief at her husband who was currently being cornered and accused of harassing one of the students, Mauren.

"Lies!!! Hiks he's lying!! He's been harassing me, he's been taking photos and videos of me!" Mauren shouted out loud.

Again Arka shook her head. Photos? Video? What was Mauren saying? She really didn't know anything.

"Mauren don't talk nonsense! Since when did I do that to you?!"

"Hiks, why didn't Mr. Arka confess? You even kept all the evidence! It's all on the camera in your bag!"

"Enough! Enough Mr. Arka! Now is not the time to defend yourself, the main thing to focus on is thwarting Mauren's suicide plan, after this we will discuss this matter in the office!"

After several attempts, the lecturer finally managed to persuade Mauren not to commit suicide. They took Mauren to a safe place, keeping her away from anything that could endanger her life. Meanwhile, Arka, the head of the campus immediately called him into his room to be questioned about everything Mauren had said earlier.

"If Mr. Arka is found guilty, I didn't expect him to be that evil."

"You're right, a handsome face and good looks but a pervert."

While the lecturers took Arka away and all the students started swearing at Arka, Naya could only remain silent. She could only stay silent while crying, trying to digest what had just happened.

"Hiks, no way."

"Naya."

"Hiks Juna, tell me, what Mauren said earlier was a lie, right? Arka couldn't have done that evil thing, hiks."

"Calm down, before everything is proven, don't jump to conclusions. We should follow Arka, ask her the truth."

"But what if everything is true? Hiks."

Juna was speechless, the man decided to take Naya away, leaving the crowd behind. He couldn't bear to see Naya crying from all the swearing directed at Arka.

"It's show time. The beginning of your destruction is about to begin, Arka."

Mauren has now been taken into custody. The woman was taken to the health clinic on campus for examination, fearing that she might have been injured. Luckily there was not a single wound on her body.

"Mauren, calm down."

"Mauren, can you tell us everything? You just calm down, we will take care of you if you are in danger."

Mauren just cried. The woman didn't want to say a word at all but just cried. Seeing this, the lecturer decided not to ask any more questions. Maybe Mauren was still traumatized so she didn't want to say anything.

While Arka was summoned by the head of the campus and Mauren was taken to the health clinic, Juna chose to take Naya to a quieter place. He was afraid that Naya would be hurt because a lot of people had started teasing her because of Arka's case.

"Drink first, Nay." Juna gave Naya a bottle of mineral water, but Naya seemed reluctant to accept it.

She had been crying all day.

"You just calm down, I'm sure Arka is innocent. You and I have known Arka for a very long time, she has never done anything that despicable so you don't need to worry."

"What if everything Mauren says is true? What if Arka did break her? Hiks Juna, what should I do if all the accusations are true?"

"As long as there is no proof then don't think of anything else first, just pray that everything will be okay."

To be honest Juna herself was also surprised, the man was confused whether to believe all Mauren's accusations to Arka earlier or not, but the man decided to pretend not to believe in front of Naya so that Naya would not be so worried.
