Chapter 89

"What time did you get home last night?"

In the morning, Naya immediately interrogated Arka. She asked her husband what time he came home and where he had been until late at night.

Arka casually said that he took Mauren home and then accompanied her to wait for Mauren's parents to come home because Mauren said that lately someone had been terrorizing her house. The woman was scared and asked Arka to be there until her parents came home from work.

Hearing Arka's answer certainly made Naya even more upset. How not, her husband prefers to wait for another woman when he already has a wife and children. Doesn't that man think about how his wife and child are at home without him? Moreover, their house is still often terrorized.

"I can't understand your way of thinking. You are more concerned about the safety of other women than your own wife and child?"

"What's wrong Nay, don't overdo it. I'm not more concerned about the other woman. I only stayed with her for a while until her parents got home from work and then I went straight home. We didn't do anything anyway."

"Briefly? You said for a while? What's a minute if it's from afternoon to night?! I was waiting for you Arka! I waited for you until 10pm!!! From 5pm to 10pm you said a minute? Where did you go and what did you do?" Naya shouted.

It seemed like Naya's patience had run out. She even screamed while crying, making Kenzo, who was playing by himself, cry because he heard her screaming and crying.

Seeing Kenzo crying, Arka immediately approached his son. Carrying his son while calming him down.

"There's no need to shout like that Nay, Kenzo's getting scared."

Again, Naya had screamed and even cried but her husband didn't seem to care. She was crying and yelling like that because she was too upset. What if the situation was reversed and Naya went out with another man from afternoon to night, would Arka stay quiet? No, he wouldn't! Naya was sure he would be even angrier than she was.

"You also know Arka that our house is still getting terrorized. Then what did you do? You waited for another woman and chose to ignore your family. What if Kenzo and I get hurt, are you going to keep quiet?"

"Nay enough. Please don't yell. You're scaring Kenzo."

With tears streaming down her face, Naya looked up at Arka. She didn't expect her husband to behave like this. 

"You've changed Arka. You're different! You're no longer the Arka I knew. You're annoying!" Right after shouting this, Naya ran straight to her room.

She locked herself in her room, ignoring her husband who kept knocking on the door to ask her to open it.

Inside the room Naya was crying violently. She was really hurt. During her marriage to Arka, this was the worst heartache she had ever felt.

How could her husband defend another woman over his own wife? Arka had really changed, very different from the Arka she knew.

If you follow the story of Arka and Naya. Starting from Arka being her teacher until they got married, you must know how possessive Arka is of Naya. You could even say that the man always prioritizes Naya above anything else. "Why? Why are you back again? You haven't given the food to Naya yet?"

Just now Yuna asked Juna for help to deliver the food she had just cooked to Naya. But only a few moments suddenly the man returned with the condition of the food to be given to Naya still intact. That means Juna has not given the food to Naya.

With a slightly blank stare, Juna sat herself down on the chair in front of the house. He had just heard the argument between Arka and Naya. It was because of this that he immediately returned home before giving the food to Naya.

Seeing Juna's silence, Yuna immediately realized it. The woman again asked why Juna returned home with the food still intact.

"I'm not going to deliver the food. It's better not to."

"Why?" Asked Yuna, both curious and confused.

"Did Naya refuse it? But there's no way, I know it's Naya's favorite dish," Yuna continued guessing.

Juna shook her head. The man immediately told the reason that made him not deliver food to Arka and Naya's house.

"I accidentally heard Naya screaming and crying. It looks like she and Arka were fighting."

Hearing that certainly made Yuna surprised. All this time Yuna never knew Arka and Naya were fighting. Maybe it was often if Arka was angry because she saw Naya meet with Zack, but if it was Naya who cried it was rare.

"What's wrong, why are they fighting?"

"I kind of heard Naya mention Mauren."

"Mauren? The new student?"

Juna nodded.

"What's wrong with her?"

"I don't know either. What's clear is that I feel like Arka has gotten really close to her lately. You know how difficult it is for Arka to get close to other people, let alone women, but with Mauren he can be very close. I think that's what triggered the fight between Arka and Naya."

"Oh so Naya was jealous? It's only natural if what you said is true."

"Yesterday afternoon I ran into Arka on campus. He seemed to be in a hurry, his face was very panicked. It turned out that he wanted to help Mauren who was locked in an empty bathroom. Arka asked me to take Naya home. But Naya didn't want to, she followed Arka instead. It was there that Naya saw Arka hugging Mauren. Maybe that's also one of the things that triggered their fight."

Again Yuna was shocked by her husband's story. She really didn't expect that to happen. If it really happened like that, Yuna could understand why Naya was angry. If she was in Naya's position, she would have felt the same way.

"How come Arka is like that anyway?"

"I don't know either."
